Dr. Tina Mitchell, MD

Multiple issues concerning HRT used & prescribed by another Md. Added estrogen may have contributed to ovarian cysts. Sorting through 8 weeks of pain before asking for help… Hoping to resolve soon.

Dr. Mitchell can be a bit brisk and off putting at first. I've been a patient of hers for about five years now and this has never changed, but over time, one does learn to appreciate her. I have had several concerns over the years and was able to address them with her. She didn't necessarily agree with my ideas or how I wanted to go about treatment for my issues, but she agreed to try my way first and then her way if necessary. As my OB, she is fantastic. She genuinely loves her job and wants to take care of all her patients so they can have safe and healthy pregnancies. She was a great coach to me during labor and even did an excellent job with my caesarean. What her facility may lack in terms of equipment, it makes up for in patient connection. Dr. Mitchell is easily reachable by phone during the course of a pregnancy and even makes personal calls to patients to check on them. I highly recommend her and her personable staff.

I had a great pregnancy experience with Dr. Mitchell a d will remain my GYN Made me feel completely comfortable all the way through, but is very realistic and informative, which I prefer. Performed a successful cesarean, which seemed effortless. A very different experience from my first with a different doctor. Overall experience was outstanding, can only say great things about Dr. Mitchell.

I would not recommend this clinic. The staff members were very kind and the clinic is clean and well-run; however, the physician was inconsiderate and unhelpful. She spoke down to me, made me feel like I shouldn’t have bothered to make appointment, and didn’t listen to any of my actual concerns. I left my appointment with no more information than I had before and it felt like I had just wasted a few hours of my day. I don’t expect to have everything figured out, she’s not a magical fairy, but I do expect a genuine effort to gain as much information as possible. Or, at the very least, a reasonable level of courtesy.

Second time going Dr. Tina and this office is excellent. The receptionist is efficient and sweet, the nurse or medical assistant is quick and knowledgeable, lastly Dr. Tina listened reviewed what she thought necessary tests and I concurred. I was in and out in under and hour. THAT'S AWESOME!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mitchell's for around 7 years now. She has been great. She's always straightforward and very informative. I have gone to her for gynecology and an obstetrics. I will continue to use her for as long as I can.

Although Dr. Mitchell is an exceptional doctor as it relates to listening and addressing patient concerns, the staff (office and RN), are less than professional. For example, the nurse became angry bc I refused to be weighed during a visit that involved only a blood test. The nurse slammed my medical file on the counter which showed hostility and unprofessional.

I have serval medical concerns that needed to be addressed. She is helping me with all of them. It nice to have a nice office and professionals to go to in our area.

Dr. Mitchell was unprofessional, out of line, rude, and condescending. I would definitely look elsewhere for a doctor. The other staff was nice.

Found after an ER visit. Got me in, in less than 24 hours. She was very polite, asked questions and listened. Seemed quite knowledgable and caring. Only thing was the wait, BUT she's all by herself and she takes her time with each patient so I don't mind waiting for a doctor like that.

They have been the best Dr I've been too! My insurance cut off due to my parents divorce and my own insurance didn't kick in till 2 months later and I couldn't afford my birth control without it. I call them to ask what I could do and they gave me two months worth of it! Any problems I have they work with me to fix it! The staff is so nice every time I'm in! I've never been to a dr's where everyone is nice and I have no complaints!
