Dr. Andrew Edwards, MD

Dr Edward's is understanding and truly listens to the patient when discussing treatments and issues...he doesn't just base his treatment recommendations on lab results. He works with me on how I'm feeling on a day to day basis and the best course of action. He not only cares about my overall wellness after hormone treatment but also cares about the physical appearance at the location of the treatment since the treatments involve insertion under the skin. He is straight foreword, he's about facts and won't sugar coat things. I have recommended him to every woman who is seeking an OB or hormone replacement therapy.

Office staff is always pleasant and helpful. Dr Edwards is compassionate and kind. I HATE going to the doctor. Its a battle in my mind to go to any of them. But Dr. Edwards puts you at ease .

Dr. Edwards is by far the best OB/GYN I have experienced. I appreciate his honesty which keeps me focused to come out on the other end with a beautiful baby. His staff is very helpful and always there to answer ALL my questions when I call. I'm so glad that I chose Dr. E to deliver both of my children.

Dr. Joe is an excellent OB/GYN. I have been his patient for 25 years, because he is very knowledgeable and seeks the best for his patients. He delivered all three of my children safely without incident. I have found him to be honest, realistic and forthcoming. I appreciate this, because I want the truth and I know he cares. He is concerned about my total health, and he wants me to be at my best. He takes the time to have a conversation with me about what’s going on in my life and with my family. He is also very funny, and has a great sense of humor. His Nurse, Karen, Dr. Pettigrew as well as her Nurse, Lindsey, and all of the Staff are very insightful and very supportive. They work as a team to give the best health care to their patients. The office is welcoming, and the Staff is receptive and pleasant. I treasure Dr. Joe as a doctor, and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Edwards and staff are the absolute best!!! Both my daughters and I have seen him for years and we love him!! Hands down best OB/GYN in Savannah!!

Dr.Edward is very good and he takes care of patients very well. During my wife’s pregnancy he has taken very good care of her and provided excellt care infact without his guidance there would have been lot of complications with my wife’s pregnancy but because of his prompt decision making it was avoided. He is very straightforward and honest which helped us make better decisions. His office staff is very helpful too. I recommend him for any new patients.

After having horrible care at another office and going through two miscarriages I thank God that I switched to Dr Edwards. I firmly believe I would not have my wonderful two week old baby girl, had I not been under his care! He is firm but caring and explains why he tells you the advice he tells you. The staff is great as well and nurses always call back to answer your questions.

I am a school nurse and recommend Dr Edwards to all my staff. He has been my dr for about 20 years and has delivered my 2 kids, held my hand through a miscarriage, and performed a hysterectomy on me. It is very easy to get an appt and always get a call back from his nurses. He has helped me get scheduled to see a gastroenterologist and a Vascular surgeon. He has my utmost trust in my healthcare!

Dr. Edwards takes the time to understand my concerns, and recommends any necessary treatment/procedures as if you were a member of his own family. He really cares about his patients. His staff is also friendly, professional and helpful, and I always receive a prompt response when I call with a question or concern.

Best experience I've ever had with an ob/gyn. Dr. Edwards is very professional but also extremely caring. He does his best to make sure I'm comfortable with my prescriptions, and he always encourages me to bring up other health concerns, even if they aren't related to ob/gyn care. I've been seeing him for four years and always recommend him to my friends. He also has a great nurse who is very responsive to messages! Highly recommend.

Dr. Edwards and his staff did an amazing job from the start of my pregnancy all the way through the delivery of my baby boy. Since we relocated and I had complications with my first child, I did some research to find an OB that had extensive experience, great reputation, happy staff, and an organized office. I decided to come to Dr. Edwards and couldn't have been happier. Great Staff who really care about you and a doctor that is on top of all potential aspects of that delivery.

Fantastic surgeon!! Dr. Edwards just performed my 2nd c-section and did a phenomenal job! He made the entire experience so calm and honestly enjoyable. I have felt great since the procedure took place. My pregnancy went very well because of his thorough medical knowledge. He will not sugarcoat things but for me this works great!! I would highly recommend Dr. Edwards!

I have seen Dr. Edwards for well over 15 years and my recent visit reminded me of why I love him as my physician so much. He delivered both of my children. With my first I had gestational diabetes and ended up on bed rest but with my second child everything was normal but the professional care he gave remained the same. He was always concerned with our well being even with all the other patients he had to see as well. There's nothing that I wouldn't trust him to treat me for!!

As a patient, GRATEFUL is exactly how you will feel to have found him! As a NICU nurse, I also have the privilege to work along side him in high risk deliveries and witness first hand his professionalism and optimal outcomes. The compassion for his patients is honestly unmeasurable. I have been a witness to his care for 20 years!
