Dr. Timothy Wong, MD

he is patient with his patients, encourages questions, and responds to them in lay terms checking that the patients understand the answer. He is easygoing and very likeable and has a knack for putting patients at ease.

A recent MRI ordered by an ENT oncology surgeon 80 miles away from my home (160-mile roundtrip) showed a possible thyroid issue. I wanted to stay closer to home with an ENT surgeon I could trust who had privileges at a hospital I could trust. I called the hospital referral service. The woman said Dr. Wong did thyroid surgery. In fact, his brochures on the office check-out counter state "his interests focus on: ...Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery.." I made an appointment, took PTO and made a 60-mile roundtrip to see him. Dr. Wong was on time and courteous. However, he started off by saying he did not know why I was there, he was just a regular ENT doctor. I told him the hospital recommended him. He then made the comment that he was hoping I wasn't expecting "world-class service". He decided to refer me to 2 endocrinologists claiming they could they could do thyroid biopsies. He cleaned my right ear, scoped my sinuses, gave me a script for an ultrasound. I won't be returning.

Mr. Wong treated me like garbage then can’t even get his diagnose correct? I was diagnosed by him with a bacterial infection when it was in fact a fungal infection. If the so called expert took more than 3 minutes to meet, diagnose and treat me, he may have gotten it correct! I do not even rate this man at all. Most disrespectful medical professional I have ever met… Will never see this practice again if my ears were falling off!

I waited two weeks for an appointment, I’m in so much pain from my ear. I got lost on the way, I was only 10 mins late and then I was told they will not see me because I was late. I had originally called in and took directions from them. I even took the day off from work to be here! I’m so upset and furious by the lack of empathy these people have. Do not go there because you’re treated just like a number.

On time. Kind. Compassionate & brilliant. He found the correct medication to help me after 4+ years of chronic cough, etc.

Never kept waiting for your appointment in outer office or exam room. I’m confident I’m in excellent hands, Dr Wong ‘listens’ to your concerns.

Dr. Wong performed my vocal cord surgery on December 21 of 2021. Dr. Wong is an outstanding surgeon. He was not quick to recommend surgery. He ordered a series’s of test before we decided the best course of treatment was surgery. He took the time to review all test result, showed and explained my video stroboscopy results and answered all my questions. I never felt our many appointments felt rushed. I wanted to have the surgery as soon as possible, but he was booked until the second week of January 2023. When I told him I was scheduled in January he changed his schedule so wouldn’t have to wait until January 2023. All I can say is his a brilliant surgeon and a kind and patient man. Thanks to Dr. Wong I regained my voice and haven’t been ill since the surgery!

I am baffled by the good reviews on here; I trusted them hence why I made an appointment with Dr Wong.Dr. Wong was astonishingly unprofessional; I would absolutely not recommend him to anyone. He was rude, condescending and dismissive of our son's issues. I rarely or never met such an unprofessional physician in my whole life and career ( I work in the healthcare industry). So much so that if we so happened to have caught him on a bad day, even a good day isn't worth any patient's time to go see him.

Dr Wong was excellent!! Superior bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Wong performed a laryngoscopy on me (a scope) missed a cyst on my vocal chords along with some nodule like irritation. I confirmed this at another local ENT. He blacklisted me from his office after I left a review stating I felt bothered by his bedside manner and misdiagnosed. I would highlight recommend using the other doctors in his establishment.

During a time when our world is in complete turmoil I was lucky enough to be recommended to Dr. Timothy Wong. I recently had surgery with him and was very apprehensive. He was very kind, listened to everything I asked, and put me at ease. My surgery went very well and I feel very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. I am also very appreciative for my follow up visits with him as well. Even though my surgery is behind me, he has continued to show me how much care and concern he has not only for me, but for all of his patients. Thank you Dr. Wong. Barbara L.

Always on time. Open to questions and answers so you can understand

Doctor was arrogant and did not hear or try to resolve this issues I came in the office with. He kept saying that he does surgery and that a family doctor handles other ear and nose problems. I walked out of the doctor's office without anything accomplished but experiencing arrogance and insensitivity.

I came to Dr. Wong with severe pain in my left ear, a stopped up feeling and tinnitus. He told me that I didn't need surgery and that there was nothing he could do for me. He charged me a $200 for a hearing test that was useless. He told me he only treated patients who needed surgery. I went to another ENT who treated me successfully and easily. That ENT told me there was no such thing as an ENT who only did surgery. I would not recommend Dr. Wong.

Dr. Wong was a very “down to earth” provider. He helped me understand what was going on in normal terms. He took my concerns seriously and did not brush them off like most doctors do. He did not know my full medical history since I have never seen an ENT. He ran tests so we could get a baseline on my issues to see if treatment was needed. I chose to see him because of the reviews online and he did not disappoint. I will see him again if I have any ENT issues and I would recommend him to all of m

I was postponing my surgery for five years because I just did not like dr in Seattle. I moved to the Atlanta area, and I have to admit that I was very lucky to be referred to dr Wong for my thyroidectomy. He explained options, and I totally accepted his recommendations. With his gentle manners and knowledge I could trust that I found right surgeon. My operation was performed in Kennestone Hospital, all team was very helpful. It is dr Wong integrity, and skills that I highly recommend.

Having suddenly discovered and then confirmed a small cancer nodule in my mouth, I was referred to Dr. Wong (ENT-Surgeon) by Dr. Michael Rosenthal (a remarkable Maxillofacial-Oral Surgeon in Woodstock, GA). I found Dr. Wong to be a steady, calm and confident voice at a time of intense emotional distress. Dr. Wong took great care and time to discuss biopsy results, type of cancer, pending tests, and ultimately he was an incredibly gifted surgeon. I could not recommend an ENT more highly!
