Dr. Timothy Powers, MD

The physician that I see for pain did a trial of a device for pain relief. He in turn referred me to Dr. Powers for insertion of a permanent device. The office staff reviewed and the referral was never given to Dr. Powers. I was told to return to the surgeon that performed a spinal surgery on me. That was SEVEN years ago and 1800 MILES away. We moved 5 years ago. I tried to explain that reason for the etc but was rudely shut down. A terrible practice. Shame on Providence Health for allowing such uncaring staff members to be part of their system.

Friendly, well-organized and very capable staff. Dr. Powers explains the procedure thoroughly and readily answers questions. I have had excellent results with all ablations done for pain control

Dr. Powers has given me hope that my back pain can be improved from degenerative disc disease resulting in several compression fractures. Experienced great results from medial branch block. Couple more procedures to go and I hope to have a much better quality of life. Love Dr. Powers’ genuine friendliness, caring, and bedside manner! Had an outpatient bilateral limited Laminectomy/decompression L4/L5, and one side on L5/S1, 4 weeks ago. Healing well. Went very well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Powers and his team, along with the rest of the NWOS team.

I think this doctor is horrible and, quite frankly, mean. I live with pain every single day. I don't take narcotics (choice I make), and over the years I've had 10-12 epidural injections for my back pain. I choose to have epidural injections with fluoroscope and under sedation (I've done it without sedation and the pain is horrible). I reached out to Dr. Powers through his practice and received a call a few days later and was told that he wouldn't accept me as a patient. He made this decision without EVER talking to me. He knew absolutely nothing about me, my life, my issues, my history, my pain level...NOTHING!! He made this decision based on paper. How can a DOCTOR base a decision like this without ever meeting someone and finding out what their history is and why they are the way they are?? Unfortunately, he and this practice is the only game in town if I want fluoroscope and sedation. Definitely proof that Spokane is far behind in medical procedures. Even if this horrible

Dr. Powers is fantastic! highly recommend. He did a 2nd Spinal Fusion on my husband lower back... he is finally pain free from back pain that he has endured for years! Dr. Powers is very skilled at spine surgery and very compassionate to his patients... Truly a great surgeon and lucky to have in Spokane.

My first appt. was great and in the fact that he was so polite and very knowledgeable in explaining the treatment I will be needing .I felt confident with the care I received.
