Really happy with him and my surgery!
I had a mass in my neck and was referred to him through U of R ENT for a parotidectomy. He got me in quickly, explained my options thoroughly and seemed confident that there wouldn't be permanent paraylsis which was my biggest concern with the parotidectomy surgery. I had surgery within 2 weeks which went well, and when my pathology came back on the tumor he reviewed it immediately and sent me a message with the good news that it was benign. Everyone that has seen my incision has raved about how good it looks and that its going to almost be invisible.

Not good
Well I went in to have my nose fixed said he was gonna open my nostrils and he did a little too much. He also drilled a hole into my brain gave me a lobotomy I have had splitting headaches since my surgery he also took his drill and drilled my ear, jaw and throat I been every else looking for e problems and everything is fine. He drilled my teeth it feels like they’re falling out. Constant pain didn’t fix The problem who’s was a maxillary cyst he left that and gave me a world of new problems. Every breath I take I feel it in my skull and he’s been telling me my problems aren’t problems didn’t care about how I feel ruined the inside of my skull. Do not go to this guy unless u want more problems. Now the healthcare system is trying to hide this and make it sound like im lying so i had to go out of my way to get proof

Terrible. Wouldn’t reccomend at all if your loooking for a nose surgeon. Awful bedside manor, he was going to perform a deviated septum surgery. Went to another nose doctor for a 2nd opinion and they said I don’t have a deviated septum and it’s something else.

if you're looking for a nose surgeon; do not go to him. For starters I have read through reviews on this page and google reviews, and a lot of the poor reviews say a similar thing; the nose was left crooked. I had two surgeries with him to correct a deviated septum, and also some cosmetic appearances of my nose. After the first surgery I noticed my nose was very crooked, like the profile of the nose looked different from either side of my face. When I went to him to express my concerns, he blamed it on something else but said we could do a second surgery to fix it. In the second surgery he used ear cartilage to "widen my airways". But what I really think is he tried using skin grafts to widen my nose to make it appear more straight. Now, it does look slightly less crooked, but it still definitely is crooked, AND it's hard to breathe out of one side of my nose. Never was before the second surgery lol. No idea what I'm going to do to fix it now, but I just advise to not go to him

I would not recommend Dr. Doerr. I approved on him performing a Septoplasty (corrective deviated septum surgery). He assured me that my rib cartilage would be sufficient to correct the septum without any cosmetic altering results. After roughly around a month of recovery my bandages and septum support tubes were removed. When those tubes were removed it was the most I've ever been able to inhale through my nose. So much so that it gave me a headache on the ride home. However, I soon noticed my nose appeared to be crooked from casual angels, on top of that, the only reason I was able to breath through my nose was because when the support tubes were removed, it looked like a boat propeller full of algae. Halfway home my nostrils became less open. My family denied noticing the curvature at first, but eventually admitted it. I went to Dr. Doerr, he said "its rib cartilage, its curved". I sincerely believe he took me as a sap and unfortunately he proved to be correct. Curvature&Mucus not ok

I am writing this note to let others know of a wonderful doctor that is available to us in Rochester, New York. His name is Dr. Timothy Doerr. Dr. Doerr is a Facial Plastic Surgeon with University Otolaryngology Associates. He has been treating me since 2007 for Facial conditions resulting from a traumatic head injury in 1985 that caused damage to 3 cranial nerves Dr. Doerr has remained steadfast in his dedication to treat my condition, fighting for insurance approvals by demonstrating the inherent medical necessity of the treatments with the use of video, pictures, multiple clinical notes, and documented medical research. Much of this effort was done on his own time. And he has shown his certainty and conviction of the usefulness of this therapy by going above and beyond the call of duty to continue my treatments, even when insurance companies would not pay for them. Dr. Doerr has collaborated with other physicians on my behalf to assist with other areas of treatmen

My septoplasty and rhinoplasty had to be re done because he left too match bone and cartiledge plus my nose wound up with a bulbous tip. Also since my deviated septum was “fixed” by him previously and was deviated again in a year, he overcompensated and my nose wound up off center and it stayed that way. Had to spend another $16000 out of pocket to fix his crappy work. Plus he’s arrogant.

Update, still no next procedure for my reconstructive process. I am disfigured and after a recent apt, all that was said is to reschedule another apt review in a month. Over 2 years now of my life on hold. I am finally scheduling an apt. with a local top reconstructive/cosmetic plastic surgeon. I will post update after I meet with him on what he states.

Jury is still out. I have ongoing procedures needed and supposedly can only be done in very, very small steps. This is now going on 2 years of my life that has been put on hold, hence 1 star. I don't know if this is true that things need to be done SO SLOW. I want a second opinion but still have to get one. I no longer can enjoy any outings as I'm disfigured and do not enjoy people staring. I work from home so all I know is DR. visits and the hospital for surgeries. I will post updates.

First appointment I was told that I would definitely need surgery to correct the internal structures of my nose, he kept pushing for me to also have plastic surgery Second appointment when I indicated that I was not interested in plastic surgery, he told me that the internal structures of my nose were fine and it would be too much work to convince insurance it was necessary. I went to another otolaryngologist who immediately said it was necessary.
