Late for all appts. Doesn't listen
He needed to change my rehab program when I wasn't doing well with his home alone PT but he refused until I needed a manipulation under anesthesia. I now am going to physical therapy and improving daily. But I am 9 weeks from surgery and can just now use my recumbent bike and cannot walk further than a block yet. If he had listened to me I feel I would be further along in my recovery

I had a Total Knee Replacement on 7-13-2021. I did not have the intense pain I expected. The knee itself never really hurt that badly...most of the pain involved the muscles and it really wasn't that bad. Doing my stretching exercises relieved a lot of that pain. At the 2 week week point, I had reached my 4 week milestones. At 6 weeks, I had reached my 12 week milestones. I am now 8 weeks out from surgery and am able to walk 1 to 1.5 miles at a time, bike ride 10 miles, and I walk at least .7 miles a day. I am very happy with the results. Dr. Myers answered all of my questions both before and after the surgery. He was very informative and easy to talk to. My experience at Highland Hospital was also very positive. They were very attentive and helpful. In addition to Dr. Myer's skill, I believe the exercises he had me do before and after the surgery had a lot to do with my excellent results. He placed a lot of emphasis on these exercises. He is a great doctor! Stefan

Dr. Meyers performed a left hip replacement for me with excellent results. I am pain free and the recovery process has been right on schedule. Dr. Meyers took the time to answer all my questions, as did his staff. The surgery and follow-up have been just as he outlined. I would definitely recommend him for hip issues.

Dr. Myers and his team are wonderful. I had a total knee replacement about ten months ago; after three months I went back to work with no restrictions. (I am now 64, soon to be 65) As a rural mail carrier, I needed to get in and out of my car up to 100 times per day for parcels and mail and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. This September I was having trouble with my hip and in one visit the problem was found and remedial exercises given. I have full confidence that they will work well. I highly recommend this orthopedist and his staff.

Doctor Thomas Myers is a skilled Orthopedic surgeon who agreed to perform a double knee replacement for me. He was upfront with me from the start when he explained what I needed to do to recover from this major surgery. I followed his instructions and did my physical therapy exactly like he told me to do it and I was cleared 6 weeks after my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Myers for anyone who wants one or two knees replaced. He is an excellent Doctor.

In the last 4 months, I have had two complete knee replacements that Dr. Myers has performed. The first one was in July, 2019. Within 3 weeks of that surgery, I was walking normal up and down stairs. My friends and relatives were amazed by my success and wanted his name and location so they could use him for their knee surgery. Within 6 weeks of that surgery I was totally healed and no knee pain. In October, 2019 I had my other knee completely replaced by him. Again, unbelievable success!!! Needless to say, I think he is an amazing surgeon would highly recommend him to anyone. I have friends who had hip surgery done by him as well with the same great success!! He is very professional and helped me immediately with any concerns and questions. If your having knee or hip surgery, he's the surgeon for you!!!!

Dr. Myers replaced my left knee 10 months ago and it was the best surgical procedure I've had. (And I've had a few!) The scar from the incision is very thin compared to the scars I've seen on friends who've had this surgery. The pain from the surgery was minimal, as long as I followed the doctor's instructions. After 2 weeks, I weaned myself completely off the pain meds without any issues. I did about 4 weeks of therapy and then continued riding a stationery bike, which helped me return to a full range of motion. I am highly satisfied with this whole procedure, from start to finish. By following Dr. Myers' instructions, I have had a full recovery. I highly recommend him for knee replacement surgery!

I am very pleased with the outcome of my knee replacement. My husband seldom gives a compliment, said my leg is as straight as the other and I now walk like a normal person. I was grateful to leave the hospital the next morning and returned to work 10 days after surgery:) Great job Dr Myers!
