Great Doctor and worth the wait
Take time off from work and allocate 3 hrs to see him as he is very busy with patients. His level of expertise and experience is outstanding. It is worth the wait.

NOT recommended
I experienced an unacceptably long waiting time, on the order for 2 hours, even though I had an appointment. In addition to waiting this long in the waiting room, as I was waiting even more in the examination room, Dr. Mastakouris chose to speak to a representative from a pharmaceutical company who was visiting his office, before seeing me.

I had an appointment on Monday 10th of January 2022 On 5pm and at 6 pm they informed me that I had to wait for three more people before me about an hour more. No respect at all for the patience -customers.

Dr. Mastakouris is not only a meticulous doctor but also a dedicated individual who will make sure you get the care you need. He brings clarity for times in need, giving proper heed to all patients. When I was unsure of the tumor on my shoulder he provided a fair assessment and guided me to further steps in diagnosis and removal of, what turned out to be, the lipoma. When I was having incredible stomach pains he accurately deduced the appendicitis and guided me to an expedient and safe removal.

Dr. Mastakouris has served as my primary care physician since 1995. Since then I have recommended him to dozens of friends and colleagues; simply stated this is a doctor who takes the time to listen, consult, and work with his patients. He has seen me through numerous cases of bronchial asthma, a difficult pregnancy, several abdominal surgeries, and most hypertension. Several months ago Dr. Mastakouris saved my father when he was misdiagnosed with an infection resulting from sepsis.

i find him to be a very dedicated, professional and thorough doctor. He also has a great sense of humor (not often found in doctors. My only complaint is the wait time with or without an appt it takes hours sometimes to get in to see him.

My mom WAS a patient of his for a long time. I have never been more disappointed in a doctor's performance in my life and I am in health care. There were numerous health issues that my mother kept dealing with and his refusal to refer her to specialists meant a low quality of life for her and subsequently a severe fall that resulted in 5 fractured ribs. His dismissiveness and nonchalant attitude towards her care is deplorable. Not only do I not recommend him, but I urge patients to leave asap.
