Very good experience
I switched my primary care doctor from NYU Langone Lexington AveTo dr Palecia’s small office.. It was worth it.. The stuff was very friendly, the front desk was nice and well trained.. the doctor is very caring and wasn’t rushing with me… highly recommend the place.

The worst doctor office ever. They are totally unprofessional, rude and definitely do not care at all about patients concerns. I had a very bad experience.

office staff is extremely unprofessional.
The staff is so unprofessional and rude you would think it's a joke. I try to just ignore the rudeness of the staff. I genuinely enjoy the doctor's personality and skills; he is very informative he takes his time, Hes respectful. Honestly the staff really makes it hard for someone to return. Having good staff is important, The staff is a representation of the doctor. when people encounter the rudeness and unprofessionalism unfortunately, they think the doctor will be the same way and Hes isn't. It's a shame!

My wife and I caught a cold a few weeks ago and developed a nasty cough. We went to Dr Palencia, he prescribed the some medication and in a week our cold and cough were gone. He has a new receptionist who is very nice and sensitive to patients as well as his nurse I would highly recommend Dr Palencia as your primary care doctor

Worst desk staff ever
The lady at the desk is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. Did not book my appointment after fixing the date and time over the phone, told me to come back (not asked, told), told me to go downstairs to buy a mask when she had one right there and didnt even apologize for any of the inconveniences she caused. Im sure the doctor is great but i'd give this place a 0 star if possible. Not worth it, save yourself some time and DONT GO.

This is the worst doctor I've ever known! I need to call him ONCE as a patient of nearly 2 years and he proved to be unavailable as was his unprofessional staff that "related the message". He's wonderful until you need him in an emergency and then you will find his emergency voicemail number mailbox FULL.

I'm a 50 year old female with a long history of migraines and psoriasis. I've been going to Dr. Palencia for several years. He is really great - spends lots more time getting to know your issues and is a caring listener. I prefer to try non-medicinal avenues before taking drugs and he has been very supportive and helpful with this while also giving great advice about all my choices for medicine.

He was very rude to me at both my 2 visits, which is the reason I changed to another doctor right away. He told me that I "talk a lot" even though I was telling and asking him about my health concerns and I still tried to be a humane person by showing appreciation regardless. The second visit he told me "why are you here?!". He was rude with all his responses and kept saying how "awesome of a doctor" he is, but I saw that he is not. If you want to be treated humanely, don't go to this doctor!

After moving to queens from Manhattan, it was a drag going in to see my prior doc downtown. Wife did a search and did a consultation with Dr. Palencia and recommended I see him because she was impressed. It was a blessing because he is an amazing doc and a really great person too. He is thorough, and never took any element of my concerns lightly. He is responsive and above all he remembers details and cares. It's rare!

I would highly recommend Dr. Palencia. I would also recommend that he either talk tothe girl on the phone or het rid of her altogether. She is rude and tells you to go to another doctor. I had referred several people who have all since left as I have because of her rudeness. She is not courteous and doesn't care if you are sick. In her eyes people have to know when they are going to get sick so they can make an appointment. SMH.............
