I first saw Dr. Hurd about 15 years ago. It was a long wait. My husband was angry over the wait.. Dr. Hurd saw that and did everything to try and smooth things over. He explained everything as many times as I needed to hear it to understand what would happen and what would not. That first trip that took forever taught me what to expect with Dr. Hurd. Yes he was late. But it was because people needed his help and he tried to help everyone that asked. It wasn't because he was wasting time. We went back many times and I would hear people complain about the wait and I'd tell them this. I'd stand in line around the block to see him. He was worth it. My husband had reason to see him and Dr. Hurd had to refer him to a surgeon. He picked the best. As Dr. Hurd explained to my husband that he should not drive or go anywhere till he had surgery, my husband started to tear up. Dr. Hurd sat down right on his level and spoke to him for a while. He was so compassionate. We miss you.

Dr Hurd is simply the best He is compassionate, very thorough & knowledgeable. His smile lights up the room when he walks in. He asks you what your goal is for treatment & gets busy formulating a plan, however he is flexible & quick to add to or change the plan according to your results & his own observations. He educates you on what to expect from all tx's, remembers your name & conditions, is not judgemental & tells you the truth no sugar coating from him. In the procedure room & I have had too many to count he plays music which relaxes you & relieves everyone's anxiety & stress staff included IMO. You can tell by the way he speaks, laughs & takes time to listen & understand you that he truly loves his profession. I miss Dr Hurd so much I am tearing up writing this. His absence this past year due to an accident has left a deep void & Idk who can possibly fill his shoes. When you have had the best care there is it hurts to lose him. God be with you Dr Hurd from your favorite patient?

I have been a patient of Dr. Zhird for over 20 years. When I came to him the first time I was in extreme pain. He solved the pain problem, and multiple surgeries later I am still using his practice. However, now that his practice has merged with Alliance everything is different. Their billing is screwed up, seeing the doctor in person takes a long long time, and they seem to be less concerned about their patient than some DEA mandate. We are patients in pain, not numbers.

25 years ago I could barely walk. Then I met Dr. Hurd. Through trial and error he found what works for my issues. Now I get regular procedures and I am able to walk, have a normal career, a normal life. Dr. Hurd would not quit and was determined to find my answer. Yes, he often runs behind and you often have to wait to see him. The wait is worth it!

Arrogant and uncaring. I don't leave negative reviews lightly but the doctor didn't bother to look at my medical record and see I had an MRI for a slipped disk. He instead told me I had arthritic pain in my back after pushing on my back for a few min with his hands. He then said I needed to get a needling procedure done, which of course is $$$ for him. He didn't bother to listen and acted above reproach. Horrible and unethical.

By far the worst experience ever. Dr. Hurd and his staff are running an unethical practice. This doctor does not care about his patients, he cares about his pockets. My insurance covered the office visit, but because it didnt cover certain procedures he refused to see me. They didn't even have the decency to call and cancel my appointment. They made me wait 1.5 hours, in pain, and refused my appointment. I offered to pay up front for anything my insurance didnt cover. He didn't care.

Felt like I was an interruption of their day every time I went. Only saw the dr a few times, all the rest were either NP's or something. Rushed in and out. I was self pay because I had no income or insurance. Was waiting on SSD. Last time I went, I called ahead to see how much the visit was. They told me an amount (which I had to borrow). When I got there they said I had to take a drug screen which more than doubled the fee. I told them I didn't have the money for the drug screen, and ask
