Dr. Thomas Edwards Jr, MD

Dr. Edwards does not address concerns that I had after eye surgery. Acts like he does not have time or patience to answer questions. He just wants to do operation. His communication skills are poor. He is not a true doctor.

I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. Waited 50 minutes in the office waiting room. Once I was called to the exam room, nasty clerk did my prep work. Then dilated my eyes and left stating doctor edwards would be with me shortly. I saw him pass my door to see a man who was still in the waiting room when I was called in. 35 minutes later, I walked out. He does not care, because I just found out he is retiring in March. Wish I would have known that and avoided this disaster appt. Do not recommend this office

So impressed with Dr. Edwards as physician and surgeon, and as a human who is interested in his patients -- we're not just someone drifting through. His interest is real, both cataract procedures were perfect -- no more reading glasses -- and, on top of everything, if they hadn't REVIEWED the EKG they did while I was under, I wouldn't have know about AFib. He made sure I went straight from the surgery to a cardiologist's office. His staff -- Kendra, Rhonda, Renee, and others -- are all both professional and efficient - and caring and interested. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Edwards and his staff are outstanding. Very professional, friendly and patient. It was a pleasure to have received cataract surgery on both eyes. The outcome is fantastic. Dr. Edwards fully explained the procedure and measured meticulously in order to insure that everything was done right. I only wish all of my physicians were able to deliver such a high level of service. In this day of hurried doctors, Dr. Edwards made the time to make this experience positive. I highly recommend Dr. Edwards and his staff. Thank you!

Dr. edwards recently performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and I could not be happier with the results. He is a very compassionate, highly educated & skilled eye doctor who is also a perfectionist who dedicates himself to try as hard as he can to provide you with the best possible outcome after cataract surgery.
