I just wanted to write and thank Dr. Chi for amazing advice and care of our son and his non-displaced Lisfranc mid foot injury. Another doctor of podiatry had us scheduled for surgery until we decided to get second opinions. Dr. Chi was one of 3 who advised against surgery (Harborview Sangeorzen, OPA Seibert ) but only Dr. Chi had actually had the injury himself. HIs bedside manners and kindness were the best of all 3 amazing doctors we saw. My son really liked him so much and he made him feel hopeful. After a rough start to an O'dea football season with pain from the foot, he got better week by week and they won state championship! His foot performed beautifully as it healed well, just as Dr. Chi said it would. It's a long recovery but so glad we did not choose an operation. Thank you, Dr. Chi.

I weigh 92 pounds & my shoe size is 5. Dr. Chi performed toe fusion on me with a BIG screw, 2.25” long and 1.1.25” diameter in my foot. My big toe didn't heal properly, causing me constant pain and I was unable to walk properly for 10 months because the head of the screw was right below my skin at the back of my toe. He did not inform me ahead of time the size of the screw, and if he had, I would have chosen another option or doctor.He didn't believe that stem cell treatment is an option when I asked him. Instead he pushed another surgery, he would take the pin out, perform a bone graft then replace the pin. Or PRP, which I later discovered only works on tendons and ligaments, not bones. I switched doctors, and having stem cell treatment, and that healed the bone. Then I had a surgery to remove the BIG screw, with extensive bone graft to fill the hole. Cost me lots of money & time to correct the surgery done by Dr Chi.

I had a bunionectomy and hammer toe correction surgery done September 2024, and the hammer toe correction was NOT successful! He actually made it worse, as I am now walking on my toe nail! If I could upload pictures I could show you.Dr. Chi's response was to have more surgery to correct the original surgery that he was supposed to correct in the first place! That is absolutely unacceptable! I have to question whether he is rushing through his surgeries and not paying attention to details as this is a basic surgery??The surgery was not only very painful but I had to miss 12 weeks of work to heal!I have worked in the health care industry for 40 years and I used to refer my patients to him but I will not recommend him to anyone! Beware!

Dr. Chi is friendly and personable. He explained things very thoroughly. Dr. Chi went over what was wrong and explained my options.

Even though Dr. Chi was running late, he took the time to answer all my questions. He walked me through what caused my condition and the benefits of the treatment plan. He did not recommend expensive treatment first and gave me the reasons why. As an aside, I appreciated the ease of parking, easy access to the buildng and the check in staff. Very professional. Very friendly.

Total knee replacement surgery…Excellent care by Dr and all the staff and Anesthesiologists… couldn’t ask for better…
