Dr. Bransford and his team is highly skilled, intelligent and extremely patient with the families and the patients! Performed spinal fusion surgery with nothing but amazing results! Were specifically recommended to him as being the best spinal surgeon on the West Coast and I highly agree! Nothing but five stars all around an incredible snd talented surgeon! Support teams were also amazing we were nervous about going to Harborview but wanted the best care and that’s what we got! Fusion revision surgery from S1 to T10!! WOW…incredible experience

I originally posted a 5-star review of Dr. Bransford mentioning 30+ years of pain resolved. I am officially revoking that review since multiple new details and events have taken place since that review. Anyone considering surgery with Bransford needs to make sure you fully comprehend what will take place before, during and after your surgery. Get all your questions answered by him before your actual day of surgery because, as he said directly to me when I asked him where he was the day of surgery, that he does not normally see clients the day of and before surgery. Bransford failed to contact my family after surgery even though they were waiting in the surgical waiting room. Bransford will not be in the operating room with you for the entire length of surgery and in fact was not in the operating room when they started my surgery. He depends on physician assistants, residents and anesthesiologists to manage everything from pain med to portions of the actual surgery.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bransford and his team. I had a spinal fusion of L4, L5, S1. After years of pain, I now wish I had done this surgery sooner. I thoroughly researched the procedure, physicians, and facility. Because of his high volume caseload, I had to wait to get into to see Dr. Bransford at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA, and it was well worth it. I appreciate Dr. Bransford's forthright, clinically-driven approach to care and his kind, warm demeanor. His professional expectations were reflected in his Resident physicians as well. I felt safe and confident in their care. I am now six months post-op and exercise daily-finding stretching to be most critical. While my back is stiff (which I was told would happen because of the fusion), I am pain-free. I also greatly appreciate the Harborview staff. Nurses were friendly, empathetic and methodical with their care. The OT's, nutrition, pharmacy and custodial staff so pleasant.

Dr. Bransford was able to diagnose my back problem after 30+ years of seeing too many doctors to count for the same problem. Dr. Bransford performed successful spinal surgery on my back and the 30+ years of pain was gone! I was scared about having the surgery but knew it was needed to stop the pain. I was able to talk with him multiple times prior to surgery (and after surgery) and he was able to ease my mind. Dr. Bransford is caring, empathetic, kind, knowledgeable and really listens to you. I highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Bransford performed 4 spinal surgeries on my back. He is absolutely wonderful. He cares about his patientd and treats them as if they are family. He is very warm and compassionate, highly skilled as a surgeon, and really listens to you, explains procedures thoroughly, discusses your concerns in layman terms so that you fully understand what he intends to do and the expected outcome. He is warm and friendly to everyone and genuinely cares about people. I can't say enough about him. I would not have wanted anyone else to had performed the surgeries on me. I have recommended him to family and friends.

I was recommded by Dr Daniel Schmidt to see Dr Brantford. He seen my past crays, read, the report, and did what surgery was very much needed on my back. He explains everything in terms a patient can Understand. He takes time and listens to your questions and concerns. He is through in what he does for his patients. Dr. Bransford performed a lower back fusion on me. He was very straight forward about the possible risks and what to expect regarding post-surgical pain and discomfort. I has been aprox. 3-4 years since the surgery and I have recovered very well and I am extremely happy with the results.

I can only sing praises for Dr. Bransford's skills and professionalism. He skillfully performed surgery on my fractured leg ten years ago and I have not suffered any pain since it healed, and I have been skiing throughout every winter since. I am retired now and am happy to say that I have a season ski pass which I use many times each week. Additionally, he was very kind as he patiently explained the procedure. I am thankful for the positive outcome and so appreciate his skills.

He and his team of highly-skilled surgeons eliminated back pain I had for 35 years. They are top notch. I wish I hadn't waited so long. I highly recommend him.
