This unprofessional, cold hearted, human being should not be a practicing physician. I showed up to his office for my 10 week old daughter’s consultation appointment literally 6 minutes late and the office said he has no grace period and that he refused to see us. I am a single mother of two, 10 weeks postpartum, had to find a sitter for my toddler and this was my first time visiting this hospital. To turn away a baby who needs medical attention because of a ridiculous “No grace period” rule that you do not even warn first time patients about is nothing short of cruel. Literally 6 minutes.

A rare Dr that listens and acts.
Dr Arasu and his staff went above and beyond in last minute appt and procedure for my son. After 3 emergent ER visits in Lakeland with zero answers. We were referred to Dr Arasu by his primary Dr. Not only did they see him, as a new patient, within 24hrs. They arranged a procedure within two business days.I'm very grateful and appreciative of their thorough care.

We love Dr. Arasu and would not hesitate to see hi
Reading some of these reviews I would not judge the doctor by certain individuals in his office staff. Dr. Arasu is a GREAT doctor! He saved our daughters life with his immediate diagnosis and treatment. She would not be here if not for him. I have six children (now grown) and three have seen him for various reasons throughout the years, NEVER once have we had a bad visit with him or his PA/NP. Certain office staff could improve, but I don't believe his office staff is specifically selected by the doctor any longer. Many medical offices are now staffed with employees from a corporate blanket like BayCare, St. Joe's or other large healthcare companies. Regardless of isolated incidents with staff, I will still go to him with our grandchildren when needed for his expertise. He is also one of the nicest and most caring doctors we have been too. Known him for 20 years!

Dr. Arasu is great, however his office staff is a zoo. They are short and rude with patients. They confuse patients charts while on the phone. They told me I had a different insurance company and are now telling me I owe money, when I know I dont. They need to have a better way of making sure they are looking at the correct information when speaking about a patient as well as inputting the correct info in the charts. Unhappy with the way they run things.

Very very rude and impatient. Im a home health nurse and I had called him regarding an issue with my patient and he cut me off half way of me explaining the situation and didnt give me a clear order. So when i called back to get clarity, afterwards he told me "dont ever call me again"

So far our experience with dr. Arasu and his staff has been great. My child was asked by her primary care physician to be seen for an urgent GI Dr arasu home for her that very same day and we didn't hardly even have to wait 15 minutes. Yes the arpn does do a lot of the talking but for my fifteen-year-old daughter she's much more comfortable in that situation. That also gives me confidence that the team is wise and making good decisions together. All associates friendly, helpful there and phone

Stay away! All this doctor does is come in sit in a chair say yes and no to the arnp. I took my son in with chronic abdominal pain, gas, and cramping after constipation 2 weeks ago and he stated there is nothing he can do. IBS does not exist in small children according to him and I left there with a child in pain everyday of his life and all he said was the next time he is screaming in pain to take him to the ER. He refused doing any testing for food intolerance also.

Dr. Arasu saved my life when I was a teenager. No one could figure out why I was nauseated every single day for five years. He found the 17 ulcerations throughout my GI tract and cured me. I can never thank him enough. I hope to see him again one day to thank him in person. Wonderful doctor!

I took my 17 year old daughter in to see him because she was having pain every time she ate. He was so gentle and so understanding of her pain. He tried medication, but when that did not work he did test on her to figure out the point of her pain and found out it was her gallbladder we scheduled surgery and even then he showed that same kindness.

Stay away from this office. First this doctor has never even touched my son to check him out, he leaves it up to his ARNP. All he does is come in and sit in a chair and fold his arms and says yes or no to whatever the ARNP has come up with. Also he is never on time and average wait time is about 1-2 hours. They have awful communication skills. They would say they called and left me a message and NEVER did. I had to go over 5 days to get a stool card result that takes 5 mins. zero stars for him!!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Arasu?
Felt like a drive-by diagnosis. Arasu didn't prescribe any medicine to help with symptoms after being diagnosed on a Friday (going into weekend) and after MONTHS of testing with pediatrician and dealing with symptoms wondering what the problem was. Office needs more staff because phone rings with no answer during office hours for nurse or just to schedule appointment and when you do have appointment never seen on time. Once in room feels rushed by Arasu. I have since found another doctor.

Dr. Arasu has helped our son I am so thankful we have found him. He listens to what we say and answers our questions. Not like other doctors who told us it is IBS we listened until he became so sick that we found Dr Arasu and he has help us get our son healthy. Anybody who tells you this man is not good has their own issues. Not only do you see the NP you also see the DR every visit. What office does that? Every Visit you have time spent with you. Please tell me who does that?
