Dr Friedman is the most knowledgeable & compassionate Dr. I had a long journey with Cushings diseases trying to get diagnosed and getting dismissed by so many other drs, but Dr Friedman listened to me and knew exactly what to do. He has gotten me so far and I am now 12 days post op from pituitary acth Cushings disease, I traveled to MD Anderson to his neurosurgeon he recommended & got both pituitary tumors removed. He kept fighting and testing because he knew, if you need a Dr to listen and a Dr that knows what they are doing I would 100% recommended Dr Friedman. He saved my life, as a 24 year old I can’t even express how grateful I am to him. If you need an endocrinologist especially for Cushings disease I would not even think twice about booking an appointment with him!

Not a good experience
Very rude and disrespectful. He’s very inconsiderate and over baring with his opinions and did not hear us at all. I do not recommend.

Dr Quack
Worst medical experience ever. This guy and everyone associated with his office is a total quack.Where do I begin, I had an appointment on Feb 27th at 6:30 pm. I walk into the office on time. I had to do a double take because the office looks like absolute trash - some 1970s time warp. They take another patient first. Dr. Friedman is confused; her appointment was at 8:30 pm. The woman came from out of town and got her time zone mixed up. The very kind woman said she'd come back later as her hotel was literally across the street because I was in the waiting room for MY 6:30 appointment. The 'Dr.' insisted that she stay and have her appointment. She was insisting she come back. I hear the 'Dr' whispering, and then she decides to stay.I figure, what the hell? How long could her appointment take? Apparently HOURS.Meanwhile, I'm being 'entertained' by some nut job doctor's assistant. Who is running his mouth NONSTOP, telling ridiculous stories, including one about how he's not racist

Restored my health & saved my life
Telehealth
I visited numerous specialists at UCLA, Cedar Sinai, and UC Irvine, including endocrinologists and integrative medicine doctors. Yet, none could identify my condition or truly listen to me the way Dr. Friedman did. Remarkably, through telemedicine alone, he diagnosed extremely rare conditions and prescribed hormone replacement therapy. After two years of treatment, I finally feel like I've regained my former self. I am eternally thankful for Dr. Friedman's expertise and care.

Gave me my heath back
Telehealth
Dr Friedman takes the time to listen and has the experience and knowledge to know how to help. He will do a deep dive to find your problem areas. Then he will work with you on treatment until it is right. He gave me my health back when other endocrinologist would test 3 things and tell me everything was fine (it wasn't!). You won't regret seeing Dr Friedman.

Needs improvement
Despite all the rave reviews I have not found my treatment with this doctor all that effective. I ended up hospitalized due to ineffective treatments and dosages which I feel could have been avoided if he had taken prompt action to address unresolved symptoms at my appointments. The office is very slow to respond to questions or requests which is another red flag. This is a small operation and isn’t run like the bigger medical groups.

Dr. Friedman has saved my life many times!!
I am panhypopituitary and have been seeing Dr. Friedman for over 21 years He keeps me healthy, even though I have no pituitary function. In 2001, I first saw him for Thyroid Eye Disease which he resolved by changing my thyroid replacements. He monitored and adjusted my growth hormone replacement which I recently started but was symptomatic. When I was hospitalized with pnemonia and adrenal crisis, he consulted with the physicians so that I regained consciousness. He keeps my hormones balanced with labs and appointments about 4 times per year. He listens carefully, taking my opinions into consideration, evaluates symptoms and reviews labs to adjust replacements. He is current on medical research and has a PhD in Pharmacology which helps in determining which replacements to prescribe. I have seen Endocrinologists around the country at Pituitary Centers and cannot get the same care anywhere else. I am 73 and became panhypopituitary at 18. My BMI is normal and I feel healthy!

When reading past reviews before seeing Dr Friedman I thought, "Wow this guy is for me" since everyone touts how great he is. Well he is the total opposite with me. I have been seeing Dr Friedman since May of this year. He has no compassion/empathy toward me...almost cold. He can't commit to a diagnosis doesn't listen at all especially to my prior history, can't get my medicines right & has prescribed me medicines that he so called "thinks" I need before testing & when the tests come back says to stop taking them(one medicine was $300 out of pocket). In his visits he says one thing & in his dictations say something completely different. He uses words such as "I think" & "leaning towards", then tries to contradict what he says meanwhile the tests say something else. His beside manner is horrible & is more concerned about the time than he is the patient. He is a money monger period. He claims to be able to so called " solve complicated medical issues that most doctors can't" according to

I had gained 90 lbs in not even a year and a half (all in my belly and face), had a huge hump, severe mental health issues, etc. He off the bat found my pit tumor that was missed on my prior MRI, and after lots of testing, I got my answer to all of my symptoms- growth hormone deficiency. I have been on replacement for a few months now and my body is returning back to normal. Dr. F has literally saved my life. Yes, he is pricey, and his office is unconventional, but he is so worth the trip!!!

Dr Friedman is a good doctor, but I have been going to him for a few years and his office assistant is the worst. Right now I have waited for over a month since my insurance approved my prescription. She makes so many mistakes that I can't even elaborate because I would run out of room. When the mistakes are brought to her attention, it can be weeks before they are corrected. Right now I have waited a month with no response from a prescription. It would almost be funny if I weren't so sick.
