Compassionate Doctor
Dr. Narang does a lot more listening than talking and asks tons of questions to figure out what the problem is. In my opinion he is extremely empathetic and makes sure you feel listened to. Hat is off to this doctor.

I have been being seen by Dr. Narang for almost 2 years now. I couldn't ask for a better advocate for my health than Dr. Narang. For those of you complaining about having to see his PA, I have had to as well, and that's ok. I understand things come up. Whether he is in the office or not, if his PA is the one who sees me, I trust that she will relay an important information on to him. I am 100% comfortable and confident in Dr. Narang. ??

Excellent experience with Dr. Narang. Had to have an ECRP following a cholecystectomy with a resulting 1/2" stone in my bile duct. My procedure, removal of the stone and placement of stent was only 15 minutes. Had immediate relief of pain. Having been a nurse for 30 years I feel the care and competence of Dr Narang was stellar.

Despite multiple messages, phone calls, and visits, I really only had one office visit with Dr. Narang. I was shuffled around between his PA and his assistant, Amber and Shannon (though I always had appointments with Narang, I was never notified beforehand that I would be seeing his PA instead). I waited over a week for an important prescription to be filled (after an inexcusable amount of self advocating). I later learned that the dosage Narang finally prescribed didn’t even meet the threshold to be considered therapeutic, and so I wasted expensive medication and time that could have been put towards progress to remission. Additionally, Narang was not motivated to look at my medical records or listen. After just one visit with a different gastroenterologist, I felt cared for, listened to, and received a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan. My new gastroenterologist even met with me during my scheduled appointment time (this should not be so shocking)! I do not recommend Narang.

I had my first colonoscopy yesterday with Dr. Narang. I was extremely nervous about it. When Dr. Narang came in to speak with me before the procedure, all of the anxiety just went away. He had such a calm, relaxed demeanor as he explained everything that would be happening and any potential risks. Afterward, he clearly explained everything that was done. I will not have to have another colonoscopy for 5 years. If Dr. Narang is still in the area, I will definitely request him.

When I take a doctor's appointment I need to see a doctor, not a PA. The doctor wasn't there at the office and I wasn't even notified about his absence. The PA just gave me some medication and suggested me endoscopy!
