Horrible beside manner. She will not be the one who does your surgery which after reading other reviews, is a good thing.

Dr Stefko performed simple blephroplasty on me. Her horrible surgical technique and lack of followup when I developed an orbital bleed was terrible. My outcome looked like a child learning to cut and sew with thick scars across the eyelids and horrible droops in corners. Subsequent to her surgery I had a 2nd and 3rd opinion wherein both local physicians indicated the surgery needed to be revised. I had a revision which went perfectly

My 8-year-old daughter had an operation done by dr. Stefko and her team for rare orbital tumor. Dr. Stefko explained patiently and to the details what was the plan, she kept us informed during the operation that lasted 8 hrs and kept visiting us in PICU and in the hospital every day. She is extraordinary physician and surgeon! Strongly recommend her.

An operation that should have been a success was a big failure on her part. Has made my life very challenging. Sorry I ever met her. The only reason I gave her one star is because it is required.

My family member drove several hours to see her about getting a tumor removed in his orbital area. She was in the room with him for a short period and told him she would be back. An hour and a half passed and she never returned. A guy entered the room and said they were sending him to another physician at another hospital. Before he could leave for that other hospital, he was told to go home and follow up with the referring physician tomorrow. Nothing was explained. It was a waste of time.

I arrived early for my appointment. She made me wait nearly 2 hours before she finally saw me. She spent less than 5 minutes talking to me. She had already made up her mind before she even walked through the door! She was unbelievably rude, didn't even bother to listen to all of my concerns and rushed me out. I completely regret my appointment with her - a complete waste of time and money. She is so rude, unhelpful, and judgmental.

I found Dr. Stefko on the internet. I am a 38 yr old female that was left blind in my left eye and disfigured with an orbital tumor. Every Dr. that I saw in Erie, pa couldn't and wouldn't do anything about it, until the day I met with Dr. Stefko. she has changed my life in ways no one can imagine. I had surgery from her and her partners who took very great care of me. She explains everything, has great patience and is just wonderful at what she does. I recommend her 100%. Bless you!

Doctor explained what I needed and how surgery would be done, then answered all of my questions. Everything when as planned, surgery was a total success. She is one of the UPMC's best!
