Dr. Summer Weary, DPM

She shaved bone off side of my foot and did a replacement of joint of my big toe. All went well and I was happy with her care of me and staff was nice.

Dr. Weary is an excellent podiatrist. From my first appointment, through my bunion surgery and my follow-up appointments she was awesome. She was very thorough explaining the surgery and she was very caring through my whole experience. She explained each step I had to accomplish and answered all questions to the fullest. Her office staff are all excellent and very friendly. This is a very caring group of people. I would highly recommend her to anyone for any foot problem.

Dr. Weary is truly a awesome needle in the haystack professional! Her simple explanations to all my questions were answered promptly and she does not make your appointment feel rushed. She explains her recommendations, pros, cons and outcomes about your treatment plan. The “other Dr” in Cookeville was a joke and missed my diagnosis by a mile! So go see Dr. Weary! You won’t be disappointed!

Called for a appointment, and after checking insurance and everything else no appointment for month plus. Get the feeling because the problem minor that they are "cherry" picking. And I just was not the cherry they wanted.

I am so thankful for Dr. Weary and her professional staff at Apex Podiatry. I have been disabled all my life, I’ve had over 25 major surgeries and have dealt with more people in the medical field than I could ever remember. This was my first visit to a foot Dr. in about 20 yrs. I was nervous but hopeful for what she may advise me. 14 weeks have passed since my initial visit. The surgery was a huge success and I’m feeling great. Thank you very much for your professionalism and helping me stay positive while I was healing up. Thank You again.

Dr. Weary and her staff are amazing. She has done 2 foot surgies on me and just recently fixed an ingrown toe nail. I can not say enough good things about her. Her staff is always friendly ( and believe me, working with people with pain and problems, it is NOT always easy to maintain happy and friendly all day long). I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the lobby and that was when I was worked in regarding my in grown and I still only had to wait 5 minutes. Dr. Weary is on top of her profession. Love that she is knowledgeable, friendly, and has done an excellent job for my poor messed up feet. We are very fortunate to have a doctor like her located right here in the Upper Cumberland!!!

The bottom of my right foot had been killing me for months even longer. After seeing Dr. Weary my foot is so much better. I feel like I am walking on a cloud. I recommend her and the staff very highly.

I first came to Dr Weary for a biopsy of a melanoma on my heal. She personally called me with the confirmation of the diagnosis. She was very compassionate and took the time to explain my situation to me. She was very comforting and reassuring in a very dark moment of my life. I just came out of another biopsy with her. This time the news was good. She again personally called with the results. Most doctors put this of to a nurse who can't always answer questions. Dr Weary is the BEST!

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Weary...wonderful Podiatrist with impeccable credentials. She and her office staff are kind caring people and give their patients the best care possible. Love them all...would never go anywhere else!

Dr. Summer Weary & her staff are excellent . The care I have received has been wonderful . I would recommend her for any foot problems small or big . I am glad I chose to go with her as a Surgical Podiatrist instead of a Orthopedic Surgeon . She did a major surgery on my foot & ankle Oct. 20 2017 which I have had no complications & have recovered well at 20 wks ! She is a very thorough & excellent surgeon ! Plus very caring & kind always taking time to answer questions .

Dr. Summer Weary and her staff go above and beyond for each patient. She makes everyone feel welcome and is always very easy to talk to. I always do and will continue sending any of my friends and family to see her. My planters faciatis was healed with a simple injection and I was back to my old activities in no time. If I had realized that it could have been fixed with minimal to no pain I would have went alot sooner. Thank you Dr. Weary and staff for my pleasant experience!!!!!!!!

Dr. Weary performed great toe fusion on my foot this summer. She is a great surgeon! My incision should heal with little to no scarring. She always patiently listened and satisfactorily answered questions I had during office visits. I thought my activities were pretty much heading to a halt but she has given me hope of activity returning to normal. She is a great dr and surgeon and I would highly recommend her for a good and honest evaluation of your situation!
