Outstanding
We only have had the initial visits with her and surgery is scheduled tomorrow. She was kind, explained findings and plan in excellent great detail and was reassuring. I look forward to the procedure she will be doing for my child tomorrow.

Terrible communication and bedside manner
Reading these reviews after meeting with Dr. Choi and I can see I am not alone in my experience. Her bedside manner is terrible. She barely looked at my son before berating me for being upset that my son has been unable to eat and fallen off his growth chart, unable to sleep at night, and has suffered constant illnesses for the last 2 years. She let me know she is scheduling severe cases 4 months out because she is so in demand and that my son could wait. I felt rushed. She didn't listen. I had questions that were never answered. And I'm confused about next steps because she walked out of the office so abruptly. I'm near tears. This experience has been so stressful and upsetting and my son continues to suffer.

Not a good experience
She seemed irritated by us being there. It was a confusing experience. We ended up switching Drs. and we’re having a better experience now.

Very rude and unprofessional
Dr. Choi was not a pleasant Doctor. I have been to many doctors offices in boston over the last 5 years and have never encountered a doctor as rude as her. She had no patience with my child who was nervous to be checked because he has been in and out of the hospital the past month. She didn't even care to try to talk to my child in a better manner to make him feel comfortable. She got upset my son was crying and could barley even finish examining him, she just told me to come back if his problems persist and walked out the room without saying anything else.

Dr. Choi is Excellent
Dr. Choi performed surgery on my daughter's ears and she clearly cared about both my daughter and us as patients. It was very comforting knowing that our daughter was in great hands!

Went to Children’s for hearing test for my daughter and it showed hearing loss. I asked if an ENT doctor could see her same day. Dr Choi fit her in. As a nurse who had 3 sets of tubes as a child, I told them it would be quick visit. Her PA and Dr Choi both took time to sit with us and talk through options. Dr Choi did tube surgery today and it was a smooth process.

Dr. Choi literally saved my child's life. She is straightforward in her manner and says it like it is. I would recommend her to anyone who is tired of getting a run around from doctors.

I agree with the other review, I don’t think the negative reviews depict an actual picture of dr Choi. She is an intelligent, skilled dr who really changed our child’s life. Of course every dr asks you why you’re there and what brought you in. She asked us too, then she proceeded to diagnose my child with a type 3 laryngeal cleft that was missed by 5 other ENTs for the past 8 years! She called us after every surgery to check up. I can’t say enough great things about her, life changing sums it up

I am confused by the other reviews on this page as I feel that they do not properly represent Dr. Choi. We have had a wonderful experience with her. She has provided unparalleled support and excellent care for both of my children. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate us, takes the time to always answer emails and calls off hours to check in. The treatment she most recently provided my son has been life changing and we now have a healthy, happy, thriving baby. I cannot thank her enough!

Did not listen to me. Acted like I did not belong in her office with my child who has obstructive sleep apnea and laryngomalacia after I was told my childs pulmonary doc to follow up with ENT after sleep study.

I had a similar experience as the previous reviewer. Our pediatrician sent us for further testing of my child who has had a year full of strep, tonsillitis and unexplained illnesses and Dr. Choi questioned why I was in her office. Acted bothered by my questions and concerns. Honestly, first negative experience I've had at Children's who I hold in high regards. Maybe she is overworked and in desperate need of a vacation, but was very unprofessional and unpleasant.

Awful doctor who does not listen to the concerns of the patient/parent. I went in for an appointment with my child and was given attitude and was very upset when Dr. Choi bullied me out of the office. She absolutely does not listen to the concerns of the parents. I also heard her talking about other patients parents in hallway and how the average wait time for her is about 30 mins and her patients "can wait." I would never reccomend this doctor.
