Dr. Su Wooi Teoh, MD

Dr. Teoh has been amazing in caring for our 2-year-old, addressing both her hearing loss and recurrent sinus infections. I was referred to this practice for ear pain and buzzing . I waited an hour BEFORE I was seen for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT then was told to ignore the sounds and the pain will go away on it’s on. Also was suggested that I “train my brain to disregard the sounds”. And said I need to come back in 6 months for a follow up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and will not recommend this practice to anyone!!!

Everytime I go to office the receptionist confronts you with money you owe.This visit she says I owed 3 copays for the last visit, I didn't even get the bill yet. My insurance doesn't allow more than two copays/dr visit. I told them I would talk to my ins. company about this since I felt is was a mistake. I have NEVER been late or not paid my bill. I usually pay once the bill arrives. I went to the waiting room waiting to be called. 45 minutes later the rude receptionist says "did you call your ins. comp? You won't be seen till you pay the $75." I was so upset that she made me wait 45 min and then tells me that! I was in a lot of pain or i would have left so I decided to just pay and work it out later. She made me wait another 30 min. Now almost 2hrs past my appointment i was called in. I told the Dr I was treated rudely by his receptionist and he said I have bad ins. and he likes her. I have great ins. Now I find out they are billing for a dr I didn't see and a test is didn't have.

My situation was very complex. Dr. Teoh was very kind, compassionate and he listened. He explained things well and he was very thorough and helped make the best decision for my care. I highly recommend him and would see him again!

Great doctor, knew exactly what the problem was right away. However, his nurses & office staff could be better. The nurses as well as the medical records & billing staff are very rude. They performed a procedure that was not covered by my insurance without getting my approval. When my insurance did not pay, I was told I owed the full balance. I asked for a payment plan as I was not prepared for the extra expense but was rudely told they did not have one. This doctor needs better office policies & new staff. If he had that, 5 stars without a doubt.

As compared to when I last saw him in 2016. A surprisingly negative difference. Both he and his PA gave hurried assessments. Placed his scope in my ear to take a look Did not keep it there even long enough to observe my inner ear. Just pressed it there and right back off. I have a parotid cyst that he is to remove when things permit( covid). I felt so disrespected when I left the office and I keep thinking about their lack of interest I'm not sure about the surgery. I wasnt given hardly any time to voice my concerns. If its 15 mins that is supposedly for each visits. This visit fell mighty short. Definitely things have changed as his doctor years have marched on, maybe his enthusiasm has lessened. Not sure what to do now. Reading other reviews has shed some light into my decision making.

Great experience with Dr. Teoh. Extremely smart and competent. A very nice man, too. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Teoh is awesome and very through. His front office staff is however abrupt, and rude.
