Dr. Steven Weinstein, DO

Dr. Weinstein was attentive, knowledgeable and to the point... what we all need as doctors. Came in with an injured knee and he checked for breaks, blood clots and blood work and BAMMO.... tendon is torn. Grossmont ER was swamped and was there 10.5 hours...not normal, but got it done. A little odd leaving a review for emerg medicine but I had a huge unsightly and painful infection on my back that 2 rounds of ABs didn't touch. I was beside myself with worry for over a month when I was treated in urgent care by Dr. Weinstein. I was such a wreck that day that my BP skyrocketed and I had to take a powerhouse BP med, Clonidine, to get it down. Upon sight, I had immediate confidence in this very kind doctor. The doctor who was orginally supposed to do the procedure did not give me the same feeling and her obnoxious bedside manner added to my high BP, in my opinion. Dr Weinstein's calming bedside manner was the opposite and I felt confident I was in good hands. He removed the infection entirely like a rock star. He just dove right in and did it quickly and confidently. I had a culture at a derm in Torrey Pines and it came back that the infection was clear. I'd easily recommend this doctor.
