Dr. Nurkin is compassionate, thorough, caring and has tried to help me through this process. I would choose him again.

Went to Dr. Nurkin through a referral when a tumor was found in my appendix after removal. He and his staff were extremely thorough in reviewing my case and all issues I have had. He reviewed my case with the tumor board and made recommendations for next steps. I can't thank him enough for his involvement with this issue that had me very concerned.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nurkin for 4 years. I have found him to be a great listener. He has always explained everything clearly and answered any of my questions . In addition, he has always included me in the decision process regarding my plan of care. I take comfort in knowing that he is extremely knowledgeable. His staff has always been friendly. I have never had a problem getting an appointment when needed and never felt rushed during an office visit. At this point, I have not had surgery done by Dr. Nurkin. However, should surgery become necessary, I have confidence that I would be in good hands. I would recommend Dr. Nurkin to family and friends.

Dr Nurkin performed surgery on myself and four of my children and saved our lives. He is the finest surgeon and physician, hands down because he has the extremely rare gifts of phenomenal intelligence, unsurpassed skill and extreme compassion. He spent a great deal of time with each of us and explained every detail so that we could fully understand the complexity of our disease and the surgery it entailed. We travel 90 minutes to see him and we would travel 20 times that because no one in our home city could diagnose us correctly nor could they perform the robotic minimally invasive surgery we needed. We are forever indebted and thankful for this amazing man.

Instead of having a third of my colon removed as recommended by another surgeon, Dr. Nurkin succeeded in removing a large polyp thru a normal colonoscopy procedure, for which I am grateful.
