Dr. Steven Lietman, MD

Dr. Lietman is arrogant, condescending, dismissive and rude. I had a total hip replacement in March 2023. He refused to prescribe PT, refused to acknowledge my concerns about the amount of pain I was in and at my 2-month post-op appointment, after I explained the severity of the pain in my hip and thigh, stalked out of the room and said, “I did my job. I replaced the joint.” There were no additional follow-up appointments. I had to go to another provider outside of his clinic for care. It has been over 2 years since my surgery. I still have pain and frequently have to use a cane.

The Doctor and his team: from pre-op until the end of the recovery they provided guidance for everything that needed to be done by me to get the best result of the operation. Doctor Leitman and his team give top notch treatment. They are an unbelievably competent group of health care professionals with their skills being equally matched by the quality of care that they give and the caring for the patient they show. These are really nice people.

Did not listen to questions to busy running his mouth and because he wasn’t listening completely got everything wrong when patient was explaining herself.

Dr. Lietman and his team are very professional and explained the total surgical procedure, including pre and post surgery instructions. They made me feel very comfortable having the hip replacement. Today is 3 months and I am feeling great!

Dr. Lietman in Dec. of 23 then again in March of 24 preformed knee replacements for me. He and his staff were all precessional, kind, caring people. The replacements are doing well no pain and no complications due to high level of care. The company I work for sent me 5 hours away from home in a travel program and I was apprehensive about the entire process. Everyone put me at ease and we’re so caring that I was totally comfortable especially after I got to the hospital. I had minor problems on both visits and had to stay an extra night and the staff was wonderful to myself and my husband. If a family member needs to stay overnight the Pine Barn Inn is nice and the restaurant has good food.

Coming from out of town, never meeting Dr. Lietman and staff. They made my wife and I feel very comfortable. Everyone was very nice, and explained how my surgery would go step by step. When I left his office I felt ready for my surgery the next day. I knew I had made the right decision to have Dr. Lietman do my surgery.

Professionalism and genuine interest in me.

I had a total left hip replacement 3 months ago. Though I'm still recovering, I no longer have any pain in my hip, which was one of my goals. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to do my surgery. Before my surgery, he explained everything I should expect, went over all precautions & restrictions with me, & answered all my questions. He never made me feel rushed. He & his team are friendly & compassionate. If you're looking for a doctor to perform a hip replacement, I would definitely recommend Dr. Leitman!

Dr. Leitman is the best! His bed side manner is unmatched and the way he explained everyting he was going to do was so helpful and relieved a lot of anxiety.

Dr. Lietman and the medical team performed a total hip replacement on August 15, 2023.My recovery was very smooth and I'm totally mobile now.

Outstanding support and informative team. Beyond my expectations at 12 wks post op. Can’t remember when my knees have ever felt better. Highly recommend the double and this team.

After a year of being mis-diagnosed with a large soft tissue Sarcoma in my left leg I met Dr Leitman 17 years ago. Even though he was scheduled for the next six months he took me on a stand by basis because my poor previous medical care had put me at great risk. Before the operation I told him to take my leg off if it would save me. After the operation I woke up with my leg still with me. Im 83 years old thanks to one of the best Doctors Ive ever had. He listens, he talks straight talk and his surgical skills are wonderful. I truly believe He saved my life.

Dr. Lietman is very thorough, professional, compassionate and is a great listener. His staff reflects these positive qualities as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lietman to any family member, friend or patient considering knee replacement.

Unbelievable - have never experienced this before

Before the surgery, I was having mobility problems; but now I am more mobile and the pains are almost non existent.

Kept me well informed about the procedure, addressed all my concerns and did a great job on my hip.

Dr, Lietman preformed my left hip replacement 2 years ago and a hip revision of my left hip in Feb. of this year. I am very happy with the results of both surgeries and have the utmost confidence with him as I am having a total knee replacement in two days... He takes the times to listen to you and answer your questions to put you at tease or make you understand the treatment he is suggesting or preforming. I have told several people who have problems with either their knees or hips that he is who they should try to get an appt. with.
