Don’t Understand ! Why??
First of all, I have to say Dr Horn is an excellent, caring cardiologist! He was my mom’s doctor for years - when Dr Joy took over for mom’s cardiologist. . Dr Joy is rude, uncaring and mom’s primary recommended Dr Horn. He was wonderful! He also is my husband’s cardiologist. I was totally dismayed when I found out he joined Suburban Cardiology and Dr Joy. Actually, we were not notified of the move, until my husband went for his annual echo cardiogram, and his appointment with Dr Horn was non existent. There was an issue with getting his heart med refilled, as it was rejected by Northtown Cardio, and he was not a patient at Suburban!! We called Suburban about the script, and they said he was not a patient there either. After much back and forth, it seems that they had his first name wrong. I would recommend Dr Horn in a heartbeat if not for the fact that he has affiliated with this group. It’s not a good environment for patients or staff!

Horrible Office Choice
Was a patient of Dr. Horn for 6 years. Have a complicated cardiac history. Saw him every 6 months. Suppose to see him Nov 2023. Found out 2 days before appt that he moved to Suburban Cardiology. Big mistake. Appt scheduled with Horn Feb 2024. The waiting room was full and I watched it empty out and start to fill up after lunch. Waited 2 hours. The staff said my info on computer was locked and it meant someone was coming to get me. After another half hour told them I was leaving and they rescheduled me for mid April. In the meantime I got a new cardiologist at BMG and already had my first appt, cardiac workup and treatment plan. Would you believe I have been trying for weeks to cancel the mid April appt with Horn? You always get voice mail which tells you to leave message but can’t since their mailbox is always full. I need to drive over there to cancel that appt.

He’s awesome
My father had a sudden heart attack in 2021 after years of poor care by his previous cardio dr and exactly 3 months after he got the dangerous moderna mrna covid vaccine (we’re certain that was the cause). I’m my fathers proxy and help him through his med appts. His previous cardio dr always passed him off to a subpar PA and was totally disengaged from my fathers care. After recovering from his heart attack, we searched for a better cardio dr, did an exhaustive search in the Buffalo area, and settled on Dr Horn. Let me tell you, he’s fantastic! He finally got my dad regulated on his BP meds, something we struggled with for years, he takes his time, listens, explains, is exceptionally thorough, is extremely smart and is a compassionate dr. We see Dr Horn for most visits instead of a PA. But anytime we do see the PA and have questions, he comes right in and gives us whatever time we need. If we need to call, he always calls back timely. His staff is great too. He’s honestly the best.

Amazing
Dr Horn and his staff were amazing. From the time I walked in the office I felt at ease and everyone was so nice. Dr Horn took his time with me and made me feel at ease because I was so anxious going into the appointment. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Dr Horn took over my cardiac care after another cardiac doctor ignored my complaints of chest discomfort. He detected a blocked artery.. the “widow maker”. After stent was placed, I’m in great shape. Dr Horn is by far the most compassionate, gentle, professional doctor I have ever experienced. He is a man of God who is guided by His hands! I’m am truly thankful that my wife found him for me.

Dr. Horn saved my life in 2013. I met him socially and discussed my symptoms with him and he said I want to see you at 8:30 tomorrow morning. When I went in, he did an EKG, and told me I'd already had a heart attack. He sent me right away to mercy, and within two days I had a four-way bypass. He has been taking care of me ever since. He is ver patient, kind, concerned and helpful. He takes all the time you need.

Dr. Horn, Is a Cardiologist who really cares about his patients. He will take the time to listen and is more concerned with about the medical care he gives than how many patients he sees in a day. This is very rare with the amount of patients who need care in his busy medical practice. Thank you Dr. Horn and God bless you and your family. You really stand out from the rest and it shows. Thanks you again...Franklin Senia

I have been a patient of Dr Horn for 6 years, initially following a heart attack. He took me through the process of the bypass, and provided excellent follow up care. Several years later, an infection damaged my heart valve, and Dr Horn helped me through evaluating my options, making the decision, and selecting a surgeon. His follow up care has been excellent. He has a calm, encouraging manner, and is very thorough in his exam and explanations. I highly recommend Dr. Horn.
