Dr. Steve Nguyen, DO

This doctor is very welcoming and answer most of all my questions. His procedures are thorough and detailed. He is a good listener, explains and break down things I don't understand. He does an awesome job and I reward him for all his marvelous work.He's a life saver!

This is the worst GI in probably the entire US… they bill the insurance for a 2 min doctor encounter only to be sent away with “schedule a follow up” where no one answers the phone? HOW IS THIS PLACE OPEN FOR BUSINESS?!?? SHUT IT DOWN!!! Seriously, you’re better off dropping dead somewhere and get picked up by EMT’s than to get proper care from this clown and his circus ring. This dude is a joke! Again, if you have a positive anything, just die, because they won’t schedule you in a timely manner.

If no star is possible that would be my pick. Please research other. G.I. doctors because this office is definitely not the only one out there. I attempted to book my 1st appointment with this office and it was impossible and truthfully the woman who answered the phone clearly is not a medical professional, she couldn't even pronounce diverticulitis correctly. She stated that a more specific diagnosis needs to be established before an appointment could be made. DIVERTICULITIS is a very specific G.I. issue. She was not able to provide clarification and refused to transfer me to her supervisor. MEDI-CAL confirmed it is a valid diagnosis and that this woman was incorrect. If you value your health, which it's logically assumed you do since your seeking treatment, request another referral even if you do have MEDI-CAL. NO ONE WILL ADVOCATE FOR YOU BUT YOU.

it is a pity that a professional has a staff that does not help him and his service to the calls for appointments to helps bilingual or not patients is so poor.. ??

Dr Nguyen is worst doctor I have ever seen. I will recommend to find different doctor. Office staff is also worst.

If you try to called this office they never answer , it's a service. finally got through after 25 times calling cause the dr. prescribed medicine for me, I'm in such pain!!, the girl at the office said it should be ready to pick up in hour...Went to pharmacy they never called in ( waited 45 min in line)called like I said, she said again, "I'll call it in now". Just called the pharmacy an guess what?? no prescription called in!!! I can't eat anything my stomach hurts so bad. This is ridicous!

Dr. Nguyen is a well qualified and most caring GI physician whom I have had the privilege of being his patient. I've had two surgeries with him and have been impressed with not only the quality of care that he provided, but also of his staff. I would strongly recommend Dr. Nguyen to my own family and friends.
