This man is extremely rude. I started talking to him and immediately told me to get to the point because he has other patients. I discussed an issue. He refused to treat it and mentioned it could be my weight. Basically he doesn’t like to do thorough assessments.

Very Good Doctor
I booked Dr. Suss for my husband for a regular physical and bloodwork. He only had good things to say about the doctor and the experience. Our insurance is changing and he really wants to keep this doctor which will probably not be possible, since it is outside of the Kaiser network.

3 back surgeries, 20 yrs chronic pain. Without knowing me or my history he said, nothing personal, but I have to show I’ve attempted to reduce your opioids to the lowest amount you can take. If I don’t, I can be investigated, fined and my license revoked. I’ll refer you to pain management, who no longer issues scripts. They will send recommendations to me and I will write the scripts I feel appropriate. No empathy.

I came to Dr. Suss over three years ago regarding intense back pain. He prescribed a number of drugs, none of which worked, and then ignored me when I kept indicating the pain was in the middle/upper part of my back, not my lower. He refused to do an x-ray on the middle of my back. Today, my new doctor in Arizona has confirmed that I have a curve in my spine that is twisted around and causing my pain. Do not see this man. He will not listen to you.

I saw Dr. Suss as a new patient transferring in prescriptions to Kaiser. He changed dosages on 2 prescriptions I had been taking for 2 years each with no discussion with me and refused to refill one. I didn't find out until I tried get the correct refills. He refused to correct the prescriptions or discuss my care. These are prescriptions that i rely on for chronic pain in order to work and ones that must be weaned if changed. I've never met a less caring doctor.
