Dr. Ibrahim Zeinaty, MD

I was disappointed with this doctor’s treatment. It was an establishment appt for a PCP. I really wasn’t seeking treatments at that time. I told him I was cautious with taking too many drugs. I said I might have anxiety/depression. He barely questioned that, but promptly wrote a Rx for an antidepressant I tried for 4 days, but didn’t like side effects. A week later I went to a psychologist, who gave me a standardized psychological test. My anxiety is fine, my depression is of the emotional category, not mental or physical. Talk therapy is working. He also insisted I needed a statin. I was recently successfully treated by a gastro dr for IBSD. With that, eating the proper diet for lowering LDL ( only level elevated) isn’t possible before recent treatment, but now is. Also strongly not recommended by the doctor I’d had for past 20 years. He didn’t agree. Dr. Zeinaty didn’t do a thorough evaluation or history and was keen on prescribing drugs. He didn’t build the trust I needed.
