Dr. Knecht is the most compassionate doctor around. He takes the time to listen, explain the condition and treatment, and also advise when surgery is not needed, and something else, like a cast or physical therapy, is more appropriate. He has seen me for one non-surgical broken bone, and also for 3 surgeries for very severe foot fractures. His work is impeccable, and I was able to return to full, very active function despite the severity of my injuries, which did not have a great prognosis.

Review based on initial consultation, preliminary advice, and treatment options. Office was extremely busy this day, and the wait was over an hour. The doctor took the time needed to completely discuss the situation. After that long wait, w/ all those orthopedic patients and their various devices parading by(crutches, rolling leg cart thingy's, limping), I chose the least invasive, non-surgical treatment option! I did leave w/ confidence for the potential next phase, surgery.

He acted like I was a waste of his time. He saw my daughter for 5 minutes didn't even tell me what was going on with her just said don't fix what isn't broken but when she is in pain or has mobility issue to come see him. Horrible. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I had 2 surgeries with Dr Knecht. The only time I saw him was pre-op, he never looked in on my in post-op to let me know how things went. I never saw him on my follow ups after surgery. I decided to go to another surgeon for additional surgery.

My husband was suffering with a flareup of spinal stenosis and he had an appt with dr Knecht who is a foot and ankle specialist. When he heard of Larry's primary problem and our need to travel in one weeks time across the country to our daughters wedding, he saw a need and solution. We heard him on his cell phone asking his associate, dr Norris, to fast track Larry so that he would be able to attend the wedding. Thanks to Dr. Knecht and Dr norris Larry walked his daughter down the aisle!
