Dr. Stephen Evangelisti, MD

He performed an additional procedure that was unrelated to the surgery planned. This was done without consent and beyond his area of expertise. Dr E never mentioned the need for this procedure during the two preop exams and never mentioned the fact after post op in recovery. What started as a procedure on the face resulted in another on the neck and chest completely unrelated and involved removal of a gown. He caused pain, blisters and over 20 permanent marks on a body part unrelated to the agreed upon procedure, and failed to mention any of it until it was brought to his attention. Unprofessional for sure, creepy for certain.

He performed my breast reduction and continuously recommended that I be bigger than I want to be “proportional” which I felt was incredibly inappropriate. I wanted an BR so that I wouldn’t feel constantly objectified. Every interaction I had with this man was very rushed including right before the surgery. He tried to leave the pre op room without asking me to confirm my desired size, something he told me we would discuss at that moment. I never genuinely felt listened to. All my post op appointments felt as though I was an inconvenience, I had so many questions I didn’t have the opportunity to ask because he was always trying to leave after a minute or two. That being said, i had no complications and he did a good job, just much larger than I would have liked.

Dr Evangelisti preformed a neck lift last year leaving a deformity on the left side of my head. I also have permanent nerve damage. The neck left did not even fix the sagging skin under my chin… The issue I had visited Dr Evangelisti for. Multiple surgeons I visited to fix it said..the left side was done completely different leaving the fold. This surgery was not done completely. Dr Evangelisti would never take responsibility. I have now had two surgeries to fix it….I still have nerve damage.

Dr. Evangelisti and his staff are amazing. Michele C. greets you when you first arrive. Michele C. is a true GIFT to this world! Her smile and personality light you up and make you feel so at ease and comfortable. She is truly beautiful inside and out! Dr. E has a MAGIC about him that makes you feel so comfortable: his kindness and genuine ability to talk with you is so embracing. Dr. E did a phenomenal job on my breast augmentation. He was very professional and made me feel very comfortable about my decision. He explained the procedure in detail and made professional suggestions that correlated with what I aspired to have. My recovery time was a lot quicker then I expected. I was up and walking around within a couple of days. I highly recommend getting the pain pump as well. Thank you Dr. E!

Had a breast reduction done almost 4 years agi..i told him after my 1st visit they where uneven. .he said they where swallow. .little and behold 4years latter i cant wear any bras..no tank tops at all my rite breat is smaller my nipple is higher than the othee ..i called and called. .he said wouldn't fix it. .iam so upset. .i can olny wear sports bras ...ghat same week i recieved letter that i was terminated from his office he will no longer see me in his office. .i know of other cases from others woth same problem

Unlike the wonderful reviews on this site, I not only had botched work done by Dr. Evangelisti, but he refused to repair his work, instead blaming my anatomy. I was initially pleased with him but once surgery completed, I received nothing but heartache.
