Inept PA with no oversight
Seen for routine physical by her PA Audrey Ryan. Overall terrible experience with a provider who is not up to date with current diagnostic criteria. She spent the entire visit questioning my alcohol intake which is 1 to 3 drinks week and neglected to question about other aspects of my lifestyle. Ordered bloodwork that is not covered as preventative by most insurances and used inaccurate ICD 10 diagnosis codes that do not fit my medical history. She then called with an incorrect interpretation of my bloodwork with no questioning of my current lifestyle or what could cause my results to be elevated (which if you are up to date are not per JAMA and the American Heart Association). Obviously I am not rescheduling for next year due to the clear incompetence and money grab with unnecessary ICDs and testing to up the insurance reimbursement.
