Dr. Srinivas Pathapati, MD

Dr. Pathapati recently performed my colonoscopy at the Endoscopy Center. Check in went smoothly, the wait was brief and his staff are very kind and thoughtful. I have complete confidence in Dr. Pathapati and I so appreciate his kindness.

Dr Pathapati was very good at explaining what he thought needed to be done and letting me have my personal time to schedule my procedure in the coming weeks. He is a very enjoyable person and makes you feel important.

Dr. Pathapati and his staff were so kind and helpful. I felt very comfortable at my appointment and procedure. They show that they really care.

He cares for his patient giving them his full attention to what their problems are! Once he has determined what is going on he addresses the problem or issues and presents the solution to relieve and gives the patient a clear resolution and response!

Dr Pathapati was able to see me within a few days and after one week I was taken care of. Dr Pathapati is the best gastroenterologist in Amarillo.

Dr explained results if my test and even had a printout for me to take home & read. He answered all questions I had. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable, even gave me a follow up call to make sure I was doing ok. I felt like I was in capable hands from the time I stepped through the door.

I had been seeing another gastroenterologist for a year. Only saw the doctor 1 time(initial visit)After that always saw nurse practitioner. Was so stressed about my diagnosis and they weren’t giving me any information. Finally my primary care doctor referred me to Dr.Pathapati. He looked over my tests and scans and immediately recommended I get off the medication I had been on. I had been misdiagnosed. I am back to feeling better and can’t thank Dr.Pathapati enough for finally putting my mind at ease. I had been so stressed for almost a year. Thought I had chronic liver disease. Any issues that I have…I feel confident Dr.Pathapati will do all he can to figure them out. He is truly interested in helping his patients. Most important…love that he interacts with his patients instead of always passing them off to PA or NP’s as my previous gastroenterologist did.

The doctor spent 10 minutes telling my 20 year old that "young people like you don't get GI diseases. It's probably stress." What a crock. I've never in my life been so insulted, and as a person diagnosed with IBD around the same age as my son, I was shocked.

All very friendly and thorough. Everything was precise and wait times were reasonable.

Very short waiting time, polite and friendly office staff. I was referred to him but you can make your own appt without a referral. Very professional and explained everything.
