Dr. Hauser looked at my MRIs in the room with me and showed me where my problem lies. He explained clearly what is going on, my options and gave me an idea of what to expect with each. He did not try to “sell” me on any treatment, but I got the impression that he felt my decision was reasonable. I would be very comfortable having him do surgery if it becomes advisable.

Before seeing Dr Hauser I could not stand up straight, legs burned all the time and were numb and hips hurt. I could barely function. He did back spinal fusion and I was immediately better. He explained everything very well and was kind and polite. Never rushed me. I got an appointment the same day I called. I would highly recommend him! Staci is a great asset. Very polite and caring.

First thing, Dr. Houser is clearly an expert in his field and knows his business. Dr. Houser listens really well and asks good questions. He carefully explained my condition and a course of action to help me.

Because Dr. Hauser really cares about his patients! I’m a great example of what he is capable of! I went from extreme pain in my back and neck three years ago to 90% pain free now. I had two back surgeries and one neck surgery and now it’s just maintenance. I’m 74 years old and I’m able to do many things I couldn’t! I’m so thankful that he is willing to go the extra mile for his patients!

My experience with Dr. Houser has been very positive. He explains test results thoroughly and outlines exactly what treatment options are available. He by far has the best office presence of any of the orthopedic doctors that I have seen-I never felt rushed with my questions and Dr Houser remembers what was discussed from previous visits. His competence is evident from his training and reviews from other patients and other physicians. But most of all, I appreciate the respect and care he shows during consultations, after surgery, and follow-up appointments. He is a fine person and doctor.

I had L23, L34 spondylolisthesis. I have been doing core exercises for the last four or five years trying to mitigate my pain and numbness. I was referred to Dr. Spencer Hauser for evaluation and possible lumbar fusion. As an anesthesia provider, I was leery of having this done for fear of a bad outcome. Dr. Hauser and his team gave me confidence to proceed with the procedure. My experience at Saint Francis hospital and the post operative period have been excellent. I was amazed that I woke up in the recovery room with very little pain and continue to have very little pain for the one day I was in the hospital and during my postoperative period. Dr. Hauser and his team get five stars in my book!
