Scheduler is very rude. Took months just to get in and months to wait for appt. Very in efficient. I will see someone who can help me and give me some dignity when just making an appt. If you can not count on a front staffer how am I to trust you with my life.

Dr. Kureshi did all 3 of my back surgiers. He's the best I trust him more than any other neurosurgeon. He really listens and shows he's interested in what you are saying. I'm living in Texas now and I need surgery again but I want his input if I should go forward with another surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Sohaid Kureshi, Neurosurgeon, after having been diagnosed with multiple nerves compression that caused severe radiculopathy pain going down to my leg. After reviewing all the MRI scans at his office, my surgery was scheduled a few weeks later. His office staff, especially his nurse, Chelsea, were extremely helpful and efficient. On the Surgery day at Sharp Memorial Hospital, Dr. Kureshi performed the surgery successfully without any complications or post-op pain. The experience with the nursing staff, especially the OR nurses, was also extremely comforting and reassuring. I also had no side effects from anesthesia, thanks to my anesthesiologist, Dr. Ku, and was discharged home on the same day. The overall experience had been extremely satisfactory and I am grateful for Dr. Kureshi’s‘s expert skill and professionalism. I would highly recommend Dr. Kureshi without any hesitation to family or friend for any Neurosurgical issues.

I had a great experience with the front desk person, who greeted me with a friendly "good morning". When I was called to go into see Dr Kureshi, I was escorted back by his very pleasant and helpful assistant, Chelsey. Dr Kureshi took his time explaining what was wrong with my back and what my treatment options were. After that he took the time to answer all my questions. We were able to agree on a treatment plan. At that point Chelsey came back in and explained what the next steps to our plan would be. Two thumbs way up! lol

I feel that my visit with Dr. Kureshi has been mostly on the positive side. He could take a little more time with his patients, however, I feel he is more than willing to conduct tests or suggest other resources to find the source of my pain. Review findings and then discuss a plan of care. Overall, I’m happy with Dr. Kureshi.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kureshi and his team, N.P. Rachel Anderson & PM Chelsey Lollis. I was diagnosed with a rare intradural intramedullary spinal cord tumor between T10 and T12 (an ependymoma). I was quickly losing the functions of my legs. I was horrified that I would be paralyzed from the waist down. I just had a baby and suddenly my future was looking worrisome. Dr. Kureshi took my case very seriously. Only 2 wks after I first met with him, he did this meticulous surgery to remove my tumor. My recovery took about 2 wks. N.P. Rachel A. visited me several times at the hospital and was very supportive, which was much appreciated since I couldn’t see my family due to the COVID. Now I am up walking & caring of my baby like nothing happened. My 7 inches scar looks very good. I am so thankful for the care of Dr. Kureshi. Not only Dr. Kureshi is a brilliant surgeon, he shown true empathy to my husband and myself, and he was very friendly. I definitely recommend him.

The radiologist report of an MRI of my cervical spine showed I had extremely severe spinal stenosis at C1 and C2 where the posterior arch was compressed against my spinal canal. I was referred to Dr Sohaib Kureshi, a neurosurgeon who specialized in complex surgeries. Dr Kureshi removed the posterior arch and relieved pressure on my cervical spine, and fused C1 and C2. My recovery has been great and I'm pain free. I agree with my ortho surgeon and primary care doctor who say Dr Kureshi excellent.

Simply put... Dr. Kureshi is the man. I had 5 previous back surgeries and still have my back fail. Since my surgery last year my back has improved and I am able to live my life again. He took a difficult situation and did what other surgeons could not. Again, simply put, he is the man!
