at one visit she told me she had studied my case over the weekend.

She doesn't practice medicine, her 'team' does it for her. Office visits go like this: 'MALLORY How are you ME Fine thanks MALLORY Do you have any new symptoms ME No MALLORY Your blood work shows mild changes, but we are not concerned ME OK MALLORY Be sure to call with any problems.' That's it. Wham bam, thank you ma'am. No breast exam, unless I demand one. No CEA or other cancer-monitoring tests, only a CBC and CMP, which are useless because my PCP also orders them. In fact, my PCP reports that the 'mild changes' that don't concern 'the team' now reveal my kidney functions to be in the disease range. Dr. Gandhi, though, thinks this 'care' adequately addresses my breast cancer, which has two of the three features of aggressive disease. I can't ask her about any of this because the 'the team' intercedes with a ridiculously avoidant word salad. This doctor and her team are mediocre, which can be dangerous. PS She is now at the Roswell Park Breast Center, so beware!
