Nurse's visit
I didn't see the doctor this visit because it was just a nurse visit. A mediport was implanted in 2016 when I began chemo for Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I am cancer free but my immune system is still weak so I have immunotherapy infusion during fall & winter months. So I have to have the port flushed every 6-8 weeks. I was happy with my visit as I am each time. I highly recommend Roswell Park as well as the doctors, nurses, staff as they are # 1 in my experience.

Dr Torka and her staff are amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Have never felt rushed when they are with me! Also when I went to them for a second opinion (after 10 years with a small town cancer specialist) no one tried to get me to switch to there care (I chose that on my own due to the level of care and modern treatments they offer).

Dr Torka gives her time liberally. She has a great "bedside manner". Very easy to talk to. Her assistant/resident, Joe, explained my disease and constantly reassured me while prepping me to see Dr. Torka. a thumbs up for both of them.
