INVALID LOCATION FOR DR SANDERS
I have been searching for Dr Sanders ever since she left First Physicians Group in Sarasota. I contacted the location you have on this review and they told me there is NO Dr Sanders at that location. Any ideas??? I would really like to see her again as my physician. She was the best Dr my husband and I ever had. Pray she is ok.

Sr. S. Sanders treated me in Sarasota also, for several years! I just found her today after searching for her for 3+ years. Calm. Smart. Networks around so she really knows the best specialists to refer you to as needed. She does a thorough and non-invasive exam. She really watches out for you. I miss her terribly. Thank you, Dr. Sanders.

My experience with Dr. Sanders.
I was a patient of Dr. Sanders when she practiced in Sarasota. With me, she was thoughtful, caring, & a great listener. Her prescriptions for care thereafter were based on what we discussed, my symptoms, and any lab data she had obtained. Unfortunately, executive control & the insurance industry don't allow for that thoughtful approach. The number of patients & reimbursement are the measures they use for "good practice". So, we have "concierge" practices now, where only labs, exams, etc are reimbursed are paid by the insurance, the rest is a "membership fee" for the year often equal to the insurance deductible. So the patient pays that & is still responsible for the insurance deductible in order to get competent, thoughtful care--something the MDs have already learned & paid for themselves with years of school. Time with patients to teach them and thoroughly evaluate their health is a good investment. It keeps patients and MDs in the real practice of health care.
