Not interested in you or in doctoring
Dr. Creevy is rude, dismissive, and doesn’t seem interested in his patients or their concerns. For someone treating so many elder care patients, he seems unaware how to guide elder patients to better outcomes or even how to order normalized services for this age group such as hospital beds, PT, OT, wheelchairs and walkers, etc. He expects the patient to do all this work. He also rarely checks for lumps or lesions in the mouth and throat, or does a heart check, or breathing check. He doesn’t check your skin tone, your eyes, your ears, your reflexes, and the strength of your arms and legs.I brought my physician son ( graduated from Harvard) into my appointment once to help since I was having mobility issues, and he was so shocked he found me another doctor right after the appointment. Now I see the difference. Dr. Constance B. Purser is so much more caring and knowledgeable!

Dismissive
I am an RN, I realized I had to advocate for myself over the few years I had him. He is very dismissive, curt and appears uninterested in your symptoms because he see's it all the time. His response, go to the ER, However, this is why I have a PCP. ER's just refer you back to your Dr. and ask why he did not offer to see me. He makes you feel like you are bothering him. Don't question him, he will drop you without notice. Yes, even during a crises. His way is "no care", he just can't be bothered. Makes you ask the question, are they fully staffed, and if not, why not? Attitude is everything.

Good doc if you aren't sick
Dr. Creevy can be relied on to refill your existing prescriptions, but if it comes to a new symptom or illness be prepared to find your own emergency care center or specialists if you are actually sick. He just has no real interest in diagnostic medicine, i.e., he is incredibly dismissive. My friend and I left his practice in disgust years ago, and my husband just suffered through a bad diagnosis and a failure to refer to a surgeon that resulted in months of extreme debilitating pain, and now that he has had surgery he too is leaving his practice.

Conservative medico
Over the the years this doctor has been proved to be ultra conservative in his philosophy. Once, when I was stricken with bronchitis, he refused to see me, telling his nurse to inform me that "there's a lot of that going around" when I described my symptoms. I wound up in a clinic where I was given the correct treatment, not a course of antibiotics he had prescribed for me in the past for the same complaint. When I saw him for advice concerning my drop foot, he advocated physical therapy sessions and watched me leave his office, saying "slap, slap. slap" as I walked. The clincher, however, came when I was in hospital in another city and called his office for advice on a new heart medication I had been prescribed. His nurse arranged a Teladoc call for me at a specific time. That call never came. I was surprised, to say the least, that there was no explanation during the following days.

I had my first visit about a month ago. I found him to be intelligent, polite and interested in my health. I subsequently experienced a spike in blood pressure and called his office this morning. He promptly returned my call and he adjusted my prescription . He instructed me to follow up with him next week. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Ive been a patient of Dr Creevy for over 3 years. He is one of two doctors in over 50 years that I trust completely to tell it like it is and I believe he truly cares for my well-being as well as that of all his patients. My husband goes to him also and he is very satisfied with him.

Dr. Creevy is calm, friendly and professional. He listens and then prescribes a drug. I have gone to him for 5 years. Never once did he inquire about life style or pursue questioning about nutrition. His only go-to for treatment was a prescription. I did not find "prescriptions first" to be in my best interest. The one thing that I have seen is that a prescription sets the stage for another, and then another. Maybe that is why doctors expect you to have a long list of meds when you have to see a specialist. I am amazed that Dr. Creevy knows so very, very little about nutrition. My grandson knows more! I am looking for another doctor that places more priority in nutrition and patient centric choices.

He's congenial and pretty laid back. He seems knowledgeable, but does not overreact to symptomology, but in my 10 plus years with him he has always either prescribed or used appropriate diagnostic tools to get to the root of the problem! He is also extremely accessible so that if one needs to see him they can usually get in in short order!

I went to Dr Creevy in Feb after seeing my nuerologist - who felt like the medicine I was taking was masking another autoimmune immune disease - his response was I appreciate his opinion but you have tendinitis in at elbows - both and my other pains were from old age - I'm 53 - 6 mnths later - finally found someone to listen - diagnosed with cancer that has spread to 5 different areas in my body - all it would have taken was a blood test that clearly noted severe inflammation - and follow up
