Dr. Shaun Lan, MD

Dr Lan was amazingly respectful. He listened to every concern and thoughts I had about new cardiac issues that started with a covid incident. I was distressed and am sure my history of illness was scattered and chaotic. He patiently responded to absolutely everything with compassion, kindness, and a collaborative spirit.

I loved Dr Lan. He is a very caring provider. So sorry to see him leave Legacy back in May 2023. The best PCP I have ever had.

Such a great doc. The best we have seen at this practice. He's thorough and efficient and doesn't just give bandaid solutions but long term resolve for any of our issues. I can't say enough great things about him!

He won't assess disability, won't certify any patients claim for disability benefits or the clinical need for any reasonable accomodation.

I didn’t get a survey from Legacy but felt it was important to share my experience with Dr Lan. He’s delivered bad news to me, twice, each time with some level of...glee, maybe? And then literally rolled his eyes when I got upset! He also declined to refill a medication for me based on his *admitted* misreading of my last prescription date. For that one, he claimed he would defer to my primary doc in the office (I now only ever see Dr Lan if no one else is available and my issue is urgent), but didn’t, so I spent a weekend so horrendously uncomfortable that I wasn’t able to sleep at all and missed an important meeting at work that Monday; even though I was feeling mostly better by then, I wasn’t functioning due to the lack of sleep. He also essentially accused me of drug-seeking even though I have been seeing (only) the same 2 docs that manage 2 conditions - 1 being my primary - for 11 years. That incident aside, his attitude is unforgivably unprofessional and borders on cruel.

Dr. Lan is a very professional, knowledgable physician. I have been with him since he came to Legacy and do not have one negative thing to say. His staff is top notch? and very responsive.

Dr. Lan is a very caring family medicine doctor. He is very accurate at assisting me with my medical condition. Dr. Lan is well respected in the community. I'm a very diverse individual who feels very comfortable in his practice. It is rare to find such a caring, passionate, and motivated doctor. My family and I have known Dr. Lan for years. He leads by example in patient care. We never have had a poor experience with Dr. Lan. Thank you.

Dr. Lan was professional and kind. I am so excited to finally have a Dr. That makes important decisions and suggestions to improve my health. Previous doctors have always been apathetic to my issues and waited for me to make suggestions or ask for tests. I am not a doctor so I'd rather a professional tell me which way to head on my journey to health, and Dr. Lan is doing that.
