Excellent surgeon!
Dr. Ben-Haim is an amazing doctor and surgeon. From the beginning, I felt like she listened to me, and took more time to explain concepts than Ive experienced with others. The surgical experience at UCSD was excellent, with wonderful facilities and nursing staff. My recovery was reasonable. The wait to get an appointment was too long, but overall, I feel so lucky to have had Dr. Ben-Haim as my surgeon. She is worth the wait!

Doctors Notes
Upon numerous requests my doctors notes were never sent to me despite making formal HIPPA requests. I had to go searching my self in the portal and found out she lied and changed my doctors notes. It was a teledoc appointment and I never saw her in person. In the notes she said she personally inspected along with some lady named Keri O’Conner. I was on the phone with her at fashion valley mall when she scoffed at me and started victim blaming. In the notes I have she said she did see something in the x ray regards to trigeminal neuralgia. I didn’t receive a call, email, text, or anything. She purposely referred me to Kaizen Brain Center which is out of network and was going to bill me over $1,500. She even refused to inform the doctor of what she found in my X-rays. She treated me with so much disrespect she couldn’t even admit fault and inform me or the doctor she sent me too my pain was validated. Not admitting fault fundamentally displays a concerning lack of character.

Not a patient, a former colleague who'll confirm that Dr. Ben-Haim is a wonderful, smart, and caring person you'll ever meet. I wish all the blessings in the world for her.

Dr. Ben-Haim operated on our daughter and since the surgery she has not had a seizure. I didn't meet this doctor personally but I would like to give her my sincere thanks and respect for what she has provided to us.

Review for cervical spinal fusion C4 – C7. I give Dr. Ben-Haim a grade of 10+ I can’t think of enough positive accolades to describe the expertise of Dr. Ben-Haim’s surgical skills. I’m 81 years old it has been 2 weeks since my surgery I am walking 1.2 miles a day and increasing the distance by .25 miles per day. I have absolutely no side or after effects. If I ever require another spinal surgery Dr. Ben-Haim will be my first choice!!

I saw Dr. Ben-Haim after having cervical reconstructive surgery for follow up and she has fantastic. She ordered very important tests and special MRI's. She takes the time to describe in detail to the patient all that was done during surgery and what to expect. I was extremely impressed with her calm, witty, yet serious demeanor about such a serious surger. I had a surgical fusion of C- 4 to C-7 with a titanium plate. I would recommend her to anyone including my mother. She's the best.

I went to Dr. Ben-Haim on the advice of my Dr. in NY for a possible infection with my Deep Brain Stimulator. She ordered the wrong tests and it took her office three days to call me back. At my next visit she still didn't think anything was wrong but ordered some antibiotics. the infection and pain got worse and she didn't call me back. I flew back to NY and they removed my equipment which was badly infected. They were schocked at the bad bad care DR BEN-HAIM, She and UCSD are terrible!!!!!!!!
