Very rude and condescending.
The way she spoke to me was incredibly rude and unprofessional, leaving me frustrated. I left the appointment feeling worse than when I came in. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate and attentive healthcare provider

Rude
Dr Merryman is very aggressive and rude! I noticed she seemed to throw her status around and makes everyone feel like idiots. Doesn't listen to what anyone is trying to tell her. She really needs to learn how to listen and not demand answers and try to coax things out that she wants to hear or benefits her agenda. Exhibits a Fear mongering doomsday personality!

Dr Merryman came to us at a difficult time in our family - she was the neurologist on at the time my brother in law was sent to GV with a possible stroke. It ended up being brain cancer - she was absolutely the kindest when speaking not only with him about his diagnosis but with us, his family. She showed so much compassion and understanding almost as if it were her own family member! She is the best!

Dr. Merryman is one of the best Physicians I have ever had. She has an amazing bedside manner, She genuinely cares for her all of her patients. It is so comforting to have a physician that remembers you,and your issues of concern and your past medical history upon entering the exam room at each visit. She takes time to listen, give advice and direction and leaves no question unanswered upon the end of each visit. I highly recommend her and being in the medical field myself, I personally know she has a phenomenal reputation for her level of expertise and genuine concern for her patients.

Dr. Merryman has treated my mom for many years, and she is so good to her. Like when one day mom had been having chest pains that morning which she had'nt told me, but she told doctor merryman. She was'nt having any at the time but doctor merryman was'nt taking any chances with her, noting she has a lot of medical problems. She put me and mom in her car and drove us next door to Southview hospital took us both into the emergency room herself. This is the kind of doctor she is. I appreciate her.

Dr Merryman is the worst Doctor I've ever been to. She didn't know how to treat my condition and dropped me as a patient when I was in crisis. I found out from another doctor she frequently does this to her patients, I would never recommend her

I cannot recommend Dr. Merryman enough. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and has worked tirelessly with me to solve my migraine issues. She's willing to spend as much time with me as it takes to answer my questions, which is rare in this day and age. I'm so grateful for the excellent care that I've received from Dr. Merryman and Kristi, her PA.

Dr. Merryman has always treated me like family. Goes out of her way to make me feel calm when a problem rises. She has got my severe migraines managed very well. When she found out I had a brain aneurysm, she called me personally, and had me scheduled immediately with the surgeon. I was very toched when she sent care packages to my daughter when she was deployed. I would highly recommend Dr. Merryman
