Excellent doctor. She gave me the best prescription for contact lenses and I’m still satisfied with them for several years. I would highly recommend her.

This happened to me two years in a row-I only went back to her because the first time they refunded me after she committed fraud by writing down codes for services that were not performed. The second time, I called the office to ensure that I was very specific in what I was requesting-just a contact lens exam and that was it. Instead, she took 5 minutes to do the exam and wrote that she did a comprehensive eye exam, so my co-pay was $55 and I was billed over $300, $180 of which I had to pay.

I saw Dr. Martyn in August, 2016, and am still telling the story to people I meet about how she saved my eyesight. I had been going every year to an optometrist and complaining about reduced vision. He waved it off as "aging". When I felt I could no longer drive safely, I made an appointment with Dr. Martyn. She made time to see me quickly, and ran numerous tests. That day she reviewed my case with her colleagues and an MRI was recommended. I had a tumor pressing on my optic nerve.

Our office received a phone call from Dr. Martyn regarding a patients glasses prescription. We needed the prescription for a single vision intermediate lens and the prescription that the doctor was giving us was for an office lens. When we explained the exact type of prescription we needed, Dr. Martyn proceeded to laugh and then said, That is not something we do here, Kiddo and then she hung up on us! This was the most unprofessional call, I've ever experienced with a, Medical Professional.
