Disappointed
Dr. Devershwar did give me time to speak and share my concerns during our visit but I left feeling so unheard. The way she talked to me felt dismissive and uncompassionate. While telling me i may have fibromyalgia, she also told me there’s nothing that doctors can do to help manage that but i could try yoga or water aerobics. I was further disappointed when I was called on multiple occasions asking if I would agree to cancel my follow up appointment since my labs were normal. After waiting over 6 months for the initial appointment I was disheartened to feel pushed aside from discussing what my next steps may be. I also was hurt to see comments in her notes of things she had drawn conclusions on that we did not actually discuss during our appointment. I felt like these comments would make me look like a difficult patient to other physicians who may read my chart.

Uncaring and Unprofessional
Dr Deveshwar was a good doctor in some ways, but very uncaring when I missed appointments taking care of my mother for the past year. My mom lives hours away and has been very ill, so many times I would reschedule. She sent me a letter saying she could no longer be my doctor. I am left with no place to give me my bone injection that was supposed to be given this month. I left a review at another site and she said “Please call the office” I called and the lady answering phone said “Dr. Devashwar had nothing to say to me.” Obviously, this message was deceitful and left to try to save face. So disappointed in this doctor.

Dr. Deveshwar's misdiagnosis and deception
I was referred to Dr. Deveshwar after I had spinal fusion surgery. I was experiencing muscle spasms and unexplained pain. After tests, x-rays and years of appointments she diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. It was later at her next office location I learned that She didn't believe in this illness she had diagnosed and Unbeknownst to me she wrote in my files and shared with other doctors that She had done 'multiple studies' on me to back up her beliefs. Thankfully years later I had an ENT Dr. Teoh send some bumpy gland tissue from my mouth for biopsy. The tissue was negative for cancer but positive for Sjogren's Syndrome. Instead of diligence I got deception.Doctor Deveshwar has caused me mental, emotional and physical pain for over 15 years. I would never recommend her to anyone. She let me suffer.

Finding a good rheumatologist is no easy task and Dr D is desirable primarily because if her kind nature and positive attitude. That being said, she is however, not very knowledgeable. I have been her patient for a couple of years and every time I have comments or questions, she tells me she doesn’t know much about my autoimmune disease. She confesses her experience is limited. At my last appointment she decided to refer me elsewhere. That was probably the smartest thing she has done to date. VERY nice lady, not very helpful.

She is unprofessional witch. I am going to sue her for her conduct and her nurses conduct concerning my medication which isnt even a controlled substance. I am a pharmacist and I am very disappointed in how I have been treated after 13 yrs. Her and her Rn accused me of doctor shopping after Devershwar made a mistake and wrote a prescription for 60 caps with 3 refills. So that is a 60 day supply because the prescription said Take one cap daily. So it ends up being a 8 month supply and Devershwar not recognizing what she wrote accused me of doctor shopping. And refused to refill my duloxetine which is an antidepressant used for Fibromyalgia pain. Now if something happens to me because of this all of Cone Health will be sued because I have documented records from my pharmacy that show that I have been taking the medication correctly

Dr. Deveshwar's compassion towards her patients is reflected in every aspect of her practice. Both She and Naitik take the time to explain what procedures they are recommending as well as answering any and all questions a patient may have. They are sensitive about patients waiting time but once your with them in the examination room one never feels rushed. This practice is a credit to the medical profession.

Dr. Devishwar is a rheumatologist I would highly recommend. She is caring and takes the time to be thorough, time to listen to your concerns, and time to educate the patient. Her PA, Natik Panwala, continues that caring and education. I am working with Mr. Panwala since I am on "maintenance", and with each visit learn many new and practical techniques for managing RA.
