Dr. Shahla Walizada, DO

Terrible experience- she and her “care team” don’t care at all. They have not returned messages and calls, have not submitted an appeal to my insurance despite having patient rights to an appeal. All she has done is suggest meds that my insurance doesn’t cover but her staff isn’t willing to help appeal as a patient advocate. Even after calling management I have gotten nowhere. Would NEVER recommend her

Dr. Walizada is a great doctor. She listens and is very thorough. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a physician.

Dr. Walizada took the extra time to go over many questions and concerns I had as a new patient. I was very satisfied with her attentiveness and concern for my health. I highly recommend her.

This was a wellness visit. Dr Walizada has always been really helpful and understanding of my needs. My wife has been seeing her for 4 years and I have for 3 years. She did a virtual visit while we both had Covid in June and prescribed the necessary medication for us both to get over it were quickly.

Wasn’t prepared (didn’t look at online info ahead of time) and didn’t really listen.

Doctor Walizada is amazing with my son that has autism. We have been going to her for a few years. She really takes the time to listen. She seems to really care. She is 5 star for sure.

I've seen Dr. Walizada for several years. I've found her to be a good listener, amenable to alternative medicine, wise counsel, and an overall outstanding partner in my health.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. SHE IS LAZY I've been seeing her for two years. Last year I walked into her office and told her I was in extreme pain and couldn't function, couldn't take care of my meds. She gave me some antacids, ran ZERO tests, and told me if I didn't feel better to come back in THREE MONTHS. I struggled for 10 months of severe pain with no help from her. With one conversation with another provider, a series of tests and referrals were immediately made. She cannot even fill a regular prescription. She's lazy as they come.

This doctor does not listen well and was argumentative when I asked for specific care. Her aggressive and combative attitude made me very uncomfortable. Referrals and billing were repeatedly incorrect and caused a ton of unnecessary work for me.

I’m so happy I found a great doctor. I have been with Dr. Walizada for 14 months. At every appointment she is very attentive, listens to my concerns and together we decide the best approach to help me. I’ve never felt rushed or uncomfortable during any appointment. I’ve never left with a disappointed feeling. She knows available medications very well and knows what I need to help my conditions. I encourage anyone to make an appointment with Dr. Walizada, if you’re looking for a new family doctor. I also have to give a shoutout to her nurse Debbie. What a great nurse she is.

Staff seemed friendly but distracted. A 15-minute exam took a total of 1 1/2 hours with the waiting and being left in the room. The concerns I brought to my appointment were mostly disregarded. Why ask about my concerns if they are not going to be addressed? I didn't feel like I was heard. Dr. is also difficult to understand.

Dr Walizada was very friendly and knowledgeable and professional. She seemed very down to earth and approachable and very interested in helping me. I'm happy to have her for my Dr. I also like that she is a DO.
