Dr. Shabana Qureshi, MD

Dr. Qureshi is available on only certain days. She shares her practice with her Physician assistant Asma Jamil. They rotated days. Although I made Dr. Qureshi my primary care Doctor, I have only seen her once, and have had very little contact with her. I have seen and spoken to Asma multiple times instead. If I want to talk to Dr. Qureshi about something that Asma has seen me for, she will not talk to me. She tells her front desk to tell me that I must see Asma, instead.Therefore, Asma has been acting in a Physician role.I was told by Asma that my blood work was ok, then later found out by another Doctor after being rushed to a local hospital emergency that I could be facing a life-threatening disease. I don't think Dr. Qureshi knows too much about me, nor even cares to know, since she leaves her patients to the responsibility of Asma, and never talks to me. I would not suggest this physician. It could cost you your life.

My family and I have had unfortunate experiences with her. When we first went to her we were happy with the quality of services she provided, she took the time to listen and answer any queries we had. However, her management and administration is terrible, they have lost our lab samples, sent the wrong diagnosis requests to the laboratory, have not sent referrals to the specialists they have sent us... overall, we keep getting charged for their mistakes. They take months to solve these issues.
