Surgery 10 years ago … zero issues or return problems. Great manner. Explained everything well. Showed care and interest in my post surgery recovery and ongoing care.

Be very careful if you go to this doctor, he spent no more than 10 minutes with me and had decided his diagnosis and treatment before even coming in the room. He also treated me as if my pain wasn't real and that I was hysterical and exaggerated. Dr. Dodds did not listen to what I actually said and his notes were very inaccurate. When I went to seek a second opinion, the doctor refused to see me because Dr. Dodds stated that I was looking for opiates. I NEVER asked for pain killers and now this is attached to my medical records and preventing me from seeking another opinion. I just wanted the other doctor to physically examine my arm and wrist, and because of his words, I was refused treatment that I am entitled to through insurance.

For 12 years I suffered with an extreme break of my ulna in my left arm. It was plated, but the plate would deterioate every 3 to 4 years and would have to be replaced for stability of the bone. I was referred to the Univ of Miami where I saw Dr Dodds. After seeing my X-rays, he said he could fix me. He did a bone transplant with bone from my wrist almost two years ago. On my one year post surgical visit my bone has regenerated 89%. Dr Dodds is my hero. An amazing doctor and very humble.
