August 8,2017 I have been seeing Dr. Seshadri for over 5 years and have found him to be an excellent doctor.. He has performed two very successful angioplasties which greatly relieved my condition..However, in recent years it has been very difficult to see him as he is never there. Now you are assigned to less qualified assistants. Also a new doctor has arrived in this office, Dr. Vivek Kumar, who also is often absent. Sorry to say I'll have to find another cardiologist.

While known in the community (and I agree) as an excellent cardiologist with strong experience, it is important to know that Dr. Seshadri is a militant Veegan, and does not delineate between what he feels is best, and what you need to do as a patient with heart disease. While I can only imagine the pain of watching patients steadily head toward death, it is still no excuse to soapbox on controversial recommendations while implying such recommendations are absolutely necessary!

With a long history of heart problems, and needing to see a cardiologist on an urgent basis shortly after arriving here in Sarasota, I was referred to Dr. Seshadri. He and his team took my case, and quickly scheduled me for four important tests and procedures. Their final diagnosis was spot on and with medication, I felt better immediately. The final discussion of all my issues was clear and helpful. I feel I got outstanding care from a very friendly, professional team!
