Professional & Compassionate
I have been a patient of Dr. Wheeler for over 4 years now, he has helped me with my chronic pain, I have Fibromyalgia and other autoimmune problems as well as sciatica nerve pain, he helps me manage my pain. I completely love how he offers to pray and that he always adds for the Lord to help him heal. He has a wonderful staff including his son Duke, Melanie, his new PA is a wonderful addition to his staff, Julie at the front desk is wonderful and great with the patients. I always give others with chronic pain a referral to the clinic! Dr. Wheeler keep up the good work, I appreciate you!

Personal experience
Telehealth
I believe Doctor Sean Wheeler is one of the more compassionate and understanding Pain and back doctors to whom I have had to visit. He is highly educated and that comes with a tremendous amount of compassion and understanding. Unlike other younger doctors, he doesn’t seem to get a thrill out of being able to do dole out medicine as he sees fit or based on his personal feelings towards you. He makes sure that you’re not in pain and does everything he can to get you cared for as soon as possible. After my first visit, I was able to move around and walk up and downstairs and stand for a tremendous amount of time. I highly recommend Dr Sean Wheeler!

Miserable Back Pain “GONE”
For a few months in 2022, I had pain in my lower back that was so extreme I couldn’t walk or stand more than a minute or two without stopping to bend over and stretch or to sit down. I even had to go to the ER twice before I went online to find a highly rated, proven pain management doctor. Dr. Sean Wheeler was the one who made my misery go away. At age 71, I can walk or stand for any period of time. His series of podcasts are amazing and very helpful. Dr. Sean Wheeler and his pain management clinic, “Body Guitar Clinic”, are second to none.

Underwhelming Visit
He was behind & looked at his watch repeatedly. He didn’t fully assess my symptoms or listen when I tried to explain. I asked a question when he didn’t address one of my concerns & he cut me off & said that symptom didn’t make sense based on what he found. I asked another question & he cut me off & never answered it. I felt not heard, patronized & bullied. It felt all about him making money.

Inefficient, hard to work with, go anywhere else
They force you to go to one imaging place even if you can get in sooner someplace else, they are horrible about scheduling follow up appointments, and when I finally got to see Dr. Wheeler instead of an assistant, he didn't even introduce himself. He was an hour late and he immediately informed me that he was in a hurry because he had a meeting. Then he proceeded to do an invasive procedure on me. He didn't even wait for the lidocaine to kick in.

Low back pain
After suffering from lower back pain for many years my family physician referred me to Dr. Wheeler. He did a very thorough review of my case and ordered a new MRI. He and his team were very attentive to my questions and proposed a plan of action. Before each procedure Dr. Wheeler asked if I would like him to pray, which I agreed to. This showed his genuine concern in trying to resolve my suffering. I would highly recommend him.

Compassionate, Kind,Knowledgeable, Professional
I was nervous at a recent appt because I kept getting kicked off when trying to fill out the paperwork, so I was afraid the appt might be canceled. They gave me an Office IPad and the staff helped me. Extremely nice people. The appt with Dr. Wheeler was refreshing. He spoke to me like I was a patient in pain and not imagining it, like other doctors accused me of. He diagnosed the reason for the lower back pain by listening and exaiming me. Then, he taught me about the pain using a Model of a Spine. He scheduled an appt within two weeks for a treatment he believes will reduce pain..The qualities I like the most is the compassion, kindness, and spiritualty he exudes. He was extremely calming. I was having a bad day. I asked if he'd say a prayer and he did! My husband and Caregiver were incredibly impressed with him and his staff, which has given our family hope. We believe, he will help me walk again. He has a lot of people praying for him, including me, my family, & my prayer lists.

The Doctor You Want
As a former football player, Dr. Wheeler understands pain. So he made it his mission to help others overcome theirs. His method simple: listen carefully to his patients, use his extensive training and experience to develop a pain management plan, then execute the plan. I came in with sciatica pain, he controlled that for me. I also had rotator cuff pain and Dr. Wheeler hooked me up with the best physical therapist to develop a strength training program to avoid surgery. That’s what Dr. Wheeler does best: helps patients overcome pain without surgery! Highly recommended.

Outstanding Care
After numerous neurological tests ordered by my neurosurgeon, PT was recommended before another back surgery. The attention and care I received from Body Clinic was the best I’ve ever received after four back surgeries and a hip replacement. Nothing was ignored. It’s so important to listen to patients. They also appreciated that I was going to the gym on my own. I’ve only continued to improve and have not needed surgery again. Body Guitar rocks!

Had a lot of neck and back issues last year. Went from needing a chair to help me get out of bed to resuming regular cardio and weight training exercises. His team is great—explained everything and most important to me were encouraging and fun.

Dr. Wheeler did an excellent job of running me through some things to find the route of my constant headaches. He sent me to PT for continued work. My headaches are no longer an issue. I know how and what to do to manage if the pain arises again. I have severe arthritis in my neck. He explained everything in a way I could understand. The entire office was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this practice!
