Have Parkinson’s and we are a desperate bunch praying for relief. I had to make a 10 hour flight to Cleveland for their dog and pony show of tests. Then weeks later I get a call telling me I am an ideal candidate for the Hi Freq Ultrasound to stop tremors. So six months later I finally have insurance approval and fly 10 hours back to the CC and have the procedure. Wow, no tremors. But the post op nurse tells me her last patient who had the procedure only had two hours of relief. My symptom relief lasted 10 days. Now my Parkinsons symptoms are way worse than ever. It’s my opinion that this procedure only works in the short term and is really a scam. Patient beware!

Dr. Nagel gives every evidence of being an excellent neurosurgeon. He supervises a large team UB neurologist who specialize in specific areas which please him to do the most complex surgeries. He performed a shunt installation which has virtually cured my NPH issue. All of his people are very pleasant and answer all questions well. At Cleveland Clinic the patient really is in the discussion. Dr. Nagel supervisors his assistance very closely and is always available 4 Direction. He is five star in my book!

My husband had the Neurovive treatment for essential tremor by Dr. Nagel on 1/7/21 and the results are outstanding. He is doing things with his hand that he has not been able to do in 20 years. Dr. Nagel and his team are outstanding and I cannot say enough about them and the Cleveland Clinic. I wanted to give them all a hug afterwards but due to Covid restrictions that was not possible. We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Nagel is a very kind and caring doctor. He has done surgery on me 3 times and has such great bedside manners. He takes time with you and listens to what you have to say. I highly reccommend him. Will be going back in for another surgery and he will be doing it.

Dr. Nagel performed brain surgery on me to reduce my tremors. He is the kindest doctor I have ever met, as well as and brilliant surgeon. At the Cleveland Clinic I was treated with respect and compassion by all and I credit Dr. Nagel by leading with example.
