I can't recommend Dr. Clinefelter enough. I've been seeing him for six years now and he has kept my spinal pain at bay for all six of those years. Best pain management doctor I've ever had by far.

My case is rather complex as I have had several surgeries on my lower back, as well as many other joint and and broken bone repairs. I really appreciate the fact that Dr. Clinefelter was willing to try the full spectrum of possible pain relief for me. I am still struggling, but appreciate the time and effort he has put into my case.

Dr. Clinefelter changed my life. While he didn't actually treat me he got me in touch with doctors that could. He tentatively diagnosed me with fibromyalgia, gave me a 3 month prescription for Cymbalta, and referred me on to another specialty. The day after I started the medication I woke up pain free, I didn't stay that way, but over time as the medication got into my system slowly the pain faded. The diagnosis has been confirmed and my life is 100% different because of this doctor. I didn't know how much pain I had been in just from a day to day basis until I had a flare up and, after all else had failed, was referred to Dr. Clinefelter. In addition, he advocated for me against my insurance which refused an MRI of my back. I've likely had this all my life but no other doctor cared to take the time to find the root cause of a lifetime of pain. Thank you, Dr. Clinefelter for giving me my life back. I will never forget what you have done for me.

Dr. Clinefelter has helped me manage my chronic pain for a number of years. He has always been very good at coordinating my pain care with other medical conditions I have to deal with. Every time I have used his service he explained my options and once he commences with the procedure his explanations are thorough so one is ever “surprised “ by any steps taken. I have achieved considerable pain relief through his efforts and very thankful for his professionalism.

My experience with Dr Clinefelter has been great. He’s very thorough with questions on issues your having. He explains the procedure to you in your room and again on the table. I have great confidence in him and happy I found him.

Was treated by Sean for lower back pain. Ended up getting a spinal stimulator. Pain persisted as the stimulators are not a "cure-all". I knew this. He as a pain management doctor failed me when he said all options are exhausted and emphatically stated that medicine was "way too dangerous". I had been on medication for 5 years prior to going to him. He took my medication away and refused that option. I had to suggest a medication to him as an alternative and he down-played Celebrex. BAD!

Visited clinic for lower back pain. After multiple visits this physician could not remember what I was there for, what treatments he had previously given me and did not bother to check medications I had tried before(asking me repeatedly at each visit had a tried certain medications). Seemed obsessed with opioid addiction, repeatedly talking about Missouri's problem with no drug registry. Do not recommend.

Was not rushed in the office visit unlike most doctors, explained everything to me extremely well, provided me with options, the last 4 doctors didn't, he is a doctor of excellence in his practice.
