I was referred to Dr. Westhouse by my eye doctor with a prior diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa. After many tests and his expert intuition he found my actual condition. That was 13 years ago, and he continues to provide excellent care with detailed yearly eye exams. I cannot thank him enough. I know I'm in excellent care and you will too. He is intelligent, concise, and most importantly, kind. Thank you.

Dr. Westhouse is incredibly knowledgeable about his specialty and offers explanations in understandable terms. He is good at identifying what causes him concern, what does not, and the reason for this. His staff is friendly, caring, efficient and personable

Dr Westhaus is so kind and caring and the best specialist in our whole area of Michigan NW Indiana and beyond. The diabetic retinopathy laser surgery he performed on me was phenomenal. I couldn’t ask for better care for my eye. Holly, Dr. Westhouse, Kathy, and Jess took great care of me. They are always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and truly care about my treatment and progress.

I was a brand new walk-in patient over 60 . I knew there was something wrong with my eye with all the floaters I was seeing. Called at 8 saw me at 1. The staff was excellent they prescreened me took pictures , Dr. WestHouse looked at the pictures immediately knew what was wrong. He explained exactly what was going on with my my eyeball. I had about four retinal tears said we need to operate on you today, in the operating room in about 20 minutes bing bang boom lasered shut the tears , painless done in 5 minutes. Home by 3:30 , see you in a week for checkup.

Before I started coming there I couldn't read the giant e on the eye chart cause I have hemorrhages in my eyes

I am continually satisfied with the quality and continuity of care along with the professional demeanor of the entire staff. Dr. Westhouse has the experience and technique to perform an intravitreal injection at the highest level. I feel minimal to no discomfort during or after the procedure. This has lessened my anxiety prior to my visit and contributes to my compliance in receiving these necessary injections for my eye health and vision. Thank you, again Dr Westhouse

My father has been getting Painless injections from Doctor Westhouse What a blessing it is! He explains everything to us in detail! We use to go to another retina specialist where they did not take the steps that Dr Westhouse does and it was very painful for my father and my self being the one to be with him during the procedure! It was a long ride home! But now it is completely different! after our Every 6 week office visit with Dr. Westhouse we will stop for a bite to eat and are able to carry on everyday activities. My self and my father highly recommend Dr.Westhouse And his great staff they work well together and make the experience a great one! Thank you again

Dr. Westhouse and his team provided the easiest most comfortable medical procedure I’ve ever had. I had a vitreoectomy with a scleral buckle, and in addition to likely saving my vision in the left eye, I’ve been pain-free both during surgery and post-op. I couldn’t imagine a smoother experience.
