Dr. Joseph Boss, MD

Dr boss is the best doctor that I have come up with for my retinal situation. He is kind considerate, patient and understanding,and takes the time to listen. I highly recommend this man.

I have had multiple eye strokes (BRVO, CRVO) from lupus inflammation. Dr. Boss has always been great at explaining them to me, helping me get them under control. And even coming in on days off if I have emergencies. He is always so kind and puts me at ease (you know it's not the most comfortable thing getting needles put in your eye). I definitely recommend him if you need an retina specialist.

Sorry by error clicked to early before finishing my review. Going forward - he has created great respect for himself by respecting all his patients. And what can I say about staff , everyone of them is so great and make you feel very comfortable in that office. Can’t say enough praise for Dr Boss.

Everyone was very nice and professional. Very prompt at calling and scheduling my surgery. I was extremally satisfied and felt relieved after the doctor explained the procedure to me. Thank you all. I would most definitely recommend others with any retina issues to go seek professional advice from this office.

In May, I was squeezed into Dr. Boss's already busy day due to retina tears and the potential of a detached retina. He was delightful and caring. I have been back 3 times and have enjoyed great care by the whole staff.

Dr. Boss and his entire staff puts you at ease from the minute. You walk in and are greeted by the receptionist throughout the entire care procedure throughout surgery and throughout the follow up visits. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs retina care.

Dr. Boss and his staff are always friendly, and call you by your name. They explain things as they go and respond to all questions asked. They are very knowledgeable and make you feel like you are in good hands. What's next is always explained clearly, and in today's world it's just nice to see that this part of the medical world continues to progress in areas one would think to be impossible. Vision is so important and the strides surgeons like Dr. Boss have made leave one thinking that all things are possible.

I have extreme confidence in his expertise. He is always friendly and nice too.

Dr Boss is the greatest.

This was our first time at this specialty office. The location was easy to find. Upon pulling into their parking lot, the first thing my husband commented on was how their outside landscaping was very nice looking! As soon as we walked in, we were greated by the receptionist, whom welcomed us as first time patient's. After verifying insurance info, she explained where the bathrooms were located and explained there was coffee available to us if we wanted any. We were in the waiting area for less than 5 minutes! The Dr's assistant also greated and welcomed us and explained everything that needed to be done, asked us if we had any questions and most importantly, continued to praise our child for doing such a good job of what was being asked of her. After she was finished, again, we only waited about 5 minutes for the Dr to come in. He explained everything very thoroughly and reassured us that there was nothing to be concerned of. Absolutely professional, fast and overall pleasant visit!

My experience once again was excellent. The receptionist, Val, greeted me warmly by first name. The tech team was reassuring and friendly. Dr Boss did my first Yutiq implant. My anxiety was ramping up. He explained everything before he started and as he proceeded. The procedure went smoothly. I so appreciate his expertise. I have the next eye done next week. I feel confident in his care. Thank you, Dr Boss.

Had a dislocated lens in my left eye. Dr Boss removed it and sutured in a new lens. Very complex surgery. I did great. 20/20 vision.

Great, He removed floaters in my right eye, no pain!

Dr. Boss explains the problem, the best solution and takes the time to answer any questions you may have, I would highly recommend him.

I felt confident within a few minutes of meeting Dr Boss that I had been scheduled with the best. He said that he would "get to the bottom" of my problem, and he did.

Dr. Boss is very smart and is excellent at his profession. I am very thankful for him and his staff. They have literally saved my vision and are always kind and caring. Dr. Boss and staff always make sure all questions are answered. I also appreciate that my whole day is not taken up when I have an appointment. Obviously some appointments take longer than others but, this office runs very smooth and efficiently. I am very thankful to be a patient of Dr. Boss.

Some physicians should have been gold mine salesmen, TV hucksters, or three card monte operators . . . they are interested only in maximizing their incomes and spare every expense to do so. Dr. Boss is the complete opposite of these folks. He is the DEFINITION of what a compassionate and incredibly skilled physician must be. He is reassuring and solution-focused, and there is the wonderful experience of being with someone who really cares about you and your sight . . . because he does! His staff - at every level and contact point - are professional and patient-focused. They explain and teach as they assess and measure. One is not "the pair of eyes in exam room three." He or she is a person that is respected and treated with the utmost concern for his or her total well-being. As a professional, I know when a group is stellar and a gift to the community. Dr. Boss and his colleagues exceed all superlatives - we are truly fortunate to have them here.

I just thought Dr Boss and his crew could NOT have done better. Great treatment and caring. I felt like family the way all of them treated me. I thank God for giving them the talents they need to help people get well.

Dr. Boss explained in detail what my diagnosis was and what the treatment would consist of. He was friendly and and went about his work quickly.
